How many levels are between that and molesting coeds?
Several since Miles didn't do it here.

Better question for here...If Bill Self was fired tomorrow would people be happy or bummed if they hired Mark Few to replace him?

I would be thrilled. People just knock him over some ncaa tourney early exits. They do the same to Bill Self except for the one year we had 6 NBA guys on our roster plus 2 more really, really good overseas players.

Teams and coaches who fuck up people's ncaa tourney office pool brackets more than once are viewed in an irrational light in my opinion.
Or getting bounced by Bucknell and Bradley in back to back year. 20 years ago. Could have won 5 titles since then and it would still be "Kansas always chokes".
Pretty sure winning five more titles since then would result in that not being the conversation but maybe that's just me.

Well, no one is dead. I'm not saying what Les did is ok.

I’d be happy with Few as KU’s coach. He’s never leaving Spokane though.

Positive about that?

You have evidence to the contrary?

KU and West Va should switch seeds now.

A Texas loss to Tech all but seals KU as a 3 seed, I think regardless of the result this evening.

So you’re sayin there’s a chance.

Go Purdue, Georgia Tech, Wisconsin and Mississippi State.

Arkansas plays Mizzou today. It would benefit KU for Mizzou to win that game so of course they will probably lose.

One would assume it benefits KU to be a "better" seed but we never really know for sure - do we?
For all we know our first (of hopefully 6) matchup may be our toughest matchup.
In 1988 we were a 6 seed. I don't know if it was our "toughest" game but our closest game was our 2nd game (of 6 games) - against 14 seed Murray State.

Jim boeheim sucks. Syracuse is on the bubble every year. He whines and they get one of the last spots. Rinse repeat.

I can't cheer for MIZZOU so despite it maybe helping KU, go Arkansas.

For the most part, you always want to play the worse seed.

I have to assume that's true.
My guess is over the years it works out in your favor to be a 3 seed vs a 4 or a 2 seed vs a 3 but as we know well, after our first opponent, we often don't play who we think we will down the line - and just how well that team is playing. I think most of us would have been thrilled if in 2011 when we were a 1 seed we knew we would be playing against the 9 seed, then the 12 seed, then the 11 seed - then if we beat the 11 seed, an 8 seed in the semis. Meanwhile, we very well might have been better off playing against 2 seed Notre Dame or 3 seed Purdue in the Elite 8.

Also, I have no idea if let's say a 13 seed Colgate is or isn't a better team for US to play than let's say an 11 seed St. Bonaventure. How would I - and how would anyone else really know?

You are someone who is very analytical. I would be interested to see if there has been a study on how teams mentally focus on what they feel is an inferior or superior opponent and if it has a bearing on the quality of their playing.
