it's beautiful, rains a lot but its really pretty. The north Cascades are rugged and thick. Highway 20 is a great drive. Lots of hiking, camping and offroading areas.

I think several seasons of "Alone" were filmed on Vancouver Island, and it seemed to be unbelievably wet.
