Jay Williams and Kenny Smith were ignorant last night.
Will be interesting to see if either apologize or at least explain themselves today.

Jay was basically saying Caitlin Clark shouldn't be considered great because she hasn't won a championship.
Kenny was basically degrading Sabrina Ionescu for being a woman and choosing to shoot from the NBA (men's) 3 point line.

Yikes. Surprised either of those two would do something like that on TV.

211-186. why even bother playing the game. Just have a shooting contest. so dumb.

1992 was probably the pinnacle of all star games, shoulsve probably just called it a wrap there and used for a skills and 3 pt competition only from there forward ha

Kind of crazy that some guy named Michael Jordan led all East players with 18 points in that game.

As far as last night.
You don't think people enjoyed watching KAT take 35 shots in 28 minutes? I didn't watch it.
You don't think people enjoyed watching LeBron playing just 14 minutes? I didn't watch it.
You don't think people enjoyed watching Dame chucking up 23 3 pointers? I didn't watch it.
You don't think people enjoyed watching Bam Adebayo start because Joel Embiid is injured? I didn't watch it.
You doń't think people enjoyed watching a team with Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Anthony Davis, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Karl Anthony-Towns, Seth Curry, Devin Booker, and Anthony Edwards lose by 25 points to a much inferior (talent wise) team? I didn't watch it.

Im not sure what they do to make it more competitive. Dudes don’t care about it.

A lot more money for the winners?

My worthless 2 cents....
The game is a just a "showcase". I think players don't care who wins but I think they actually do care about the game - in a we are going to have fun and hopefully not get injured - way.
Who wins the game is really only important to those who bet on it. Such as idiots like me (I bet small on the final score point differential - and of course lost).
AHA!!!! MAYBE that is what the players give a damn about? The ability to manipulate the final score and making some real money on it?

does anybody watch it? I'm not a good barometer because I don't watch the NBA in general anymore. But when I did wayvh the NBA I used to always watch the all star game, then it was less fun each year until it was just worthless waste of time.

Nobody watches bc it’s not competitive.
I’d watch if I knew the games were going to be so.

Steve Kerr should get fired after the season is over - if he doesn't leave on his own.

No, he shouldn't get fired.

The warriors are old. It's not a coaching thing. It's a they're past their prime thing.

Of course he's not getting fired. He just got a contract extension - and a raise.

Maybe they'll hire Doc if they get rid of Kerr.

Whoever assembled this roster should be fired. They didn't want to give up on Klay and Green too early and now it's too late and they never should have taken on perennially injured underachiever Chris Paul.

We'll see how they do in the playoffs.

But, Klay and Draymond earned the loyalty they've been shown imo.

I'm fine with taking a chance on CP3. Low risk high reward move.

Their roster actually has decent young pieces. This is the life cycle of a dynasty as it winds down. Not sure what they could have done to make it much better even if they tried to trade Klay or Draymond before the season.

Ben Simmons really has fallen far from The Process.
