i don’t think they’ve ever got enough fans in the stands to rush (only half kidding)DeletedUser wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 2:11 pmWhat about for the Women's CBB team?

My guess is there will be someone from the Big 12 on the committee. Now if they know who the heck TGiF is, that's up for debate. I'm thinking somehow, some one, might just sneak the TGiF trivia in to the mix.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 6:59 amLOLRainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 6:54 am Tyon Grant-Foster being a former Jayhawk from KC just might intrigue the committee. you're giving the committee WAAAAYYYY too much credit. Nobody knows who the hell TGF is. Less know he went to KU. And even less know he is from KC.
Sorry. Not buying it.
That's simply not a "storyline" to anyone outside of die hard KU fans and TGF and his family....now, I do fully expect Illinois to be in our region due to the Self storyline.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 8:13 amMy guess is there will be someone from the Big 12 on the committee. Remember, the committee and networks enjoy "story lines".
If I could get 40-1 odds right now on KU playing GCU and have to bet $20, I would do it.
Bring on the Lopes!
Kansas has been relevant and in the tourney for so long that you can create a storyline with just about any team that makes the tourney field if you try hard enough. I agree with you that the committee doesn't really care about such an obscure thing.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 8:26 amThat's simply not a "storyline" to anyone outside of die hard KU fans and TGF and his family....now, I do fully expect Illinois to be in our region due to the Self storyline.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 8:13 amMy guess is there will be someone from the Big 12 on the committee. Ok, how's this? Their coach has a brother who coaches in the Big 12 and they have an assistant coach who played against Kansas.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 8:26 amThat's simply not a "storyline" to anyone outside of die hard KU fans and TGF and his family....now, I do fully expect Illinois to be in our region due to the Self storyline.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 8:13 amMy guess is there will be someone from the Big 12 on the committee. Like I said, you can probably create a storyline that ties to Kansas with the vast majority of teams that make the ncaa tourney. Call it the "six degrees of Kansas basketball" game.RainbowsandUnicorns wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 10:40 amOk, how's this?
