I have good friends who are hardcore Pubs/Conservatives. At least they are somewhat intelligent when sharing their thoughts/feelings/opinions. randy and JK = intolerable.

As someone who considers himself to be a "moderate" "independent" (leans left in regards to some things and leans right in regards to others and has voted for both Republicans and Democrats on most ballots that I have cast that weren't primaries) I'll give my brief review of last night.
I admit I feel Kamala did better than I thought she would do but I don't feel she was "great". Very good? Ok, maybe because she stuck to plan and did it well but I would not say she was "great".
Trump was not good but he wasn't terrible if Trump's plan was to simply be Donald Trump.
I feel both didn't answer several questions directly - and the mods rightfully called them out for it.
I feel Kamala did a good job of pointing out Trump's weaknesses.
I feel Kamala did a poor job of defending her weaknesses.
I feel Trump did a good job of being Donald Trump.
I feel both did poor jobs of explaining their plans and did better jobs of pointing out each other's faults and weaknesses. That in itself a weakness. To focus more on someone else's weaknesses than your own strengths. That's not to say I feel Trump didn't deserve to be attacked, because I feel it was important to point out his weaknesses and lunacy. I just feel Kamala did it at times to distract.
I am 100% against Harris' plan to give out free money so freely.
Trump has referred to himself as a stable genius in the past. Trump proved himself to be an UNstable not so smart man.
I feel there is little to no chance Trump agrees to another debate unless he can choose the moderators.

What do people expect these "explanations of their plans" to be? If you expect someone to bore the American public with line item details oof every mechanism of the plan then you have unreasonable expectations.

Throwing specific details out there to get picked apart is a losing proposition. It will cause more problems than it would solve.

I wish Harris would have mentioned the fact that the bomber that killed then13 service members in Afghanistan was released from prison as part of Trump's disastrously negotiated deal with the Taliban.
