For those that don't want to search for the wiggins rumor: it sounds like the rumor is that his wife was cheating on him for a long time with his close friend and he found out one of his daughters may not be his.

No telling if it's true. Internet rumors. And wiggins is extremely private. So who knows.

Wiggins is a different type of dude they all say. A thoughtful and genuine soul. I hope the rumors aren't true. That would be devastating as a parent.

I sure hope so. For his sake.

Even though I felt Morris deserved some retaliation for his part in this, it's hard to like Jokic after it.

Morris got punked, and deserved it.

Getting hit from behind isn't getting punked. He got cheap shotted.

What is another word for punked?
A rough, violent person who engages in destructive actions: hoodlum, mug, roughneck, rowdy, ruffian, tough.

yeah morris had it coming, i dont think jokic had any intention of hurting him, he was just retaliating and saying "Fuck off markieff I'm not taking your shit"

It was a dirty play but I didn't see any malicious deliberate attempt to hurt markieff. just kind of a freak deal where a combination of jokic being huge and the angle of impact happened to injure markieffs neck/back/spine or whatever that was

guys, not had your coffee yet? we're talking about Joel here, not some blip that happened 2 years ago.

i hope jokic doesn't win for a few reasons, most of all is that Joel is deserving.

and one of those reasons is Kendrick Perkins' racist rant. They are both deserving, it will be close again.

He's gaining momentum at the right time, that's for sure.

I don't think they should spread them around, but the fact he hasn't won one and he's very deserving plays into it for me.

happened 2 years ago.

Thanks for pointing that out, I was under the impression it happened last night.

Morris is a punk, and he deserved getting hit back.

Morris has always been a punk.

And the only reason most people here don't want to admit it is because at one point, he was our punk.

I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

i dunno about "punk" as that seems a loaded word. but i haven't heard anyone claim the twins were great role models or students or ideal representatives for KU. they're pretty good at basketball tho, that was a dirty play by him.

all that said, why are we still talking about this? Joel scored 30+ again last night. MVP, MVP, MVP

"Punk" is too strong a word...

How about he was shady, a person of dubious character.

Full disclosure: Long Joel!
