Surprised? Uh-oh.
Good strategy appearing with Madea as his sidekick. Makes him look photogenic and rational by comparison.

If Barr isn't willing to play along with Trump's flailing attempt at Birtherism 2.0, i.e., "Obamagate", does anyone want to venture a guess at what shiny object Trump is going to try to get us to look at, next*?

*The "CDC" and "China" are already taken, as alibis for Trump's incompetent handling of the pandemic.

Yup.

I assume it's Whitmer. She was the "guest" on the second episode of his gawd-awful podcast.

Whitmer - “It was just an opening conversation and it’s not something that I would call a professional formalized vetting”.
From the same article - "Sen. Tammy Duckworth, who, according to a Senate colleague, was selected for an interview with the Biden camp over the role".
So.... They both are going to be his running mate?
I'll bet the first two takers a pizza (I'll give you $25) to your $5 that neither of them are his running mate. Deal?

I seriously doubt it will be either of them. And while Biden needs to pick "the best person" for the job, he's already going to win Illinois, so Duckworth doesn't offer much in that respect.

I'm not sure if Val Demmings would help Biden a lot in Florida, or not.

Rule #1 of VP Candidate Club:

Don't pick Sarah Palin.

#2. Don't pick Stacey Abrams, either.

Biden needs to pick someone who can run the country when he cant. As does Trump, and why he should dump Pence.

You all know deep down that the DNC will pull Biden at the last minute and put Dowdy back on the ticket. I'm predicting a Dowdy/Madea ticket.

VP candidates generally don't help, but they can hurt. Biden needs a candidate that people feel confident can step in and run the country, because at least the perception is that he may not make it a full term.

So that should disqualify Stacy Abrams.

I might, in theory, be willing to entertain the idea that they won't nominate Biden.

But Hillary?

Nah.

Good luck with the bet. Better luck collecting.

Either way, be careful who you give personal information to.

Amen. Be especially careful about accepting Facebook friend requests from bored members. They might flame your entire feed and then indignantly deny it for years afterward while simultaneously proclaiming their personal butt-hurt for lesser offenses. It’s painful to watch that level of childishness, I can tell you.
