The Unsolved Mystery of Skeleton Lake

...In 1942, H K Madhwal, an Indian forest official, stumbled upon hundreds of human skeletons stockpiled in and around Roopkund Lake. He reported the bizarre find – a mysterious lake where between 300 to 800 people met their tragic end – and the frigid Himalayas continued to preserve the human remains. In the late 1950s, the macabre mountain find was announced to the public, raising great interest and triggering several investigations that continue to date...

neither, apparently

there are remains from different, non-Indian geographies, spanning centuries...and that’s only from the 38 samples that had their genomes sequenced

Jumping on Gutters service industry thread, if you tip your grubhub delivery driver 20 percent, and they complain that's not enough to make their drive worth while at your door, what do you say?

I said sorry.
Then it was just awkward like I was supposed to go get cash.

At every restaurant I worked at, if a server even mentioned a tip, they were gone. No questions asked.

You should keep flyers for the Armed Services for those exact situations.

You didn't owe the delivery driver an apology but it was nice of you to say you were sorry.

I would have been tempted to say to the delivery driver that there are people literally cleaning up shit for a living that don't get tipped and that he/she should be thankful - and to have a nice rest of his/her day/evening.

What was the total bill?

I always tip at least $5 for delivery just to make it worth it. Which is more than 20% on an order less than $25.

He still shouldn't have said anything.

Around 8 dollars on a 40 dollar bill.
She was wearing a shirt tied off above her stomach when she most certainly ( body shame alert ) should not have been.

She also gets paid, albeit something like five dollars, from grubhub.

Supposedly about $12 an hour + 100% of their tip/s.

Yes.
Grubhub drivers get paid in addition to tips.

They can also see the tip before they accept the delivery. If it wasn't enough she shouldn't have accepted it.

I was in White Sands NM this morning. Enjoying the blue sky and the mountains in the distance, when suddenly Richard Branson's ego got launched into space right before my eyes. I was amazed as the smoke trail from his rocket plane spelled out "SUCK IT BEZOS".
