On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee begins the first of a planned series of hearings on the origins of the FBI's 2016 Russia investigation into possible ties with the Trump campaign. Republicans are particularly interested in the decision-making inside the Obama-Biden administration.
Further, the Senate Homeland Security Committee late last month approved a subpoena along party lines for Blue Star Strategies, a consulting firm that worked for Ukrainian energy company Burisma when Biden's son Hunter served on the board...
A news channel can refuse to allow someone to use their platform the same as a social media platform. This doesn't bother me.

Trump, brick-red and sweating like a hog caught in a gate, then stood before the beautiful “Church of the Presidents” for a photo-op moment intended strictly for his evangelical base that provided incontrovertible proof God is dead, or at least napping, as he held aloft the Bible and didn’t turn into a pillar of salt or leave a smoking hole where the lightning bolt struck.
I'm actually disappointed by this outcome. Now a slightly less racist candidate who knows to keep his mouth shut will likely replace King - apparently neither him nor his Republican puppet masters called out King's racism even once. It would have been satisfying to kick King in a general election, flipping a seat in the process. Who knows, maybe it can still happen.

Damn! She's good. I wish she had some "executive" experience, and not sure if being the Chief of Police of Orlando qualifies.
I've never had a strong opinion either way about my former US Representative, but the more I see of her, the more impressed I am. Biden could do much worse for a VP. Impressive:

D-Day is a big celebration day in Normandy with wreath laying and speeches in French and in English by representatives of the various countries that took part in the invasion, followed by paratrooper jumps, and local people picknicking. But the museums and the videos at Market Garden seem to me more impressive about Ike, as you get the full impression of what a fiasco it was, compared to Normandy.
Montgomery, whose soldiers hated him as much as the Americans in uniform respected Eisenhower, had a major part in all the screwups that ended in lots of deaths of his troops.
Yet for the rest of his life Ike never blamed Monty and never suggested that the whole idea was FUBAR from the beginning and shouldn't have been undertaken. That seems like leadership.
