You can call that article based on cherry picked numbers if you want but it is an aggregation of the accepted measures of cost (with food costs added as a separate entity). It is also from CNBC which is not a notoriously Maga source.....

Leaders in the middle east were literally signing peace accords under trump. Can you imagine it under Biden? Biden would send money that gets funneled into terrorism while congressmen buy war stocks

The cost of living is higher now and we all know it. There is really no reason to bicker about statistics. Costs are up all across the board

My cost of living is almost the same as ever, with robust growth in investments. Russia attacking Ukraine, fed interest hikes (to end the run on housing) are pretty much the only variables fueling regional inflation. In Texas, gas is fifty cents lower than Kansas, which I am visiting. Gasoline is down about a buck from early summer.

Trump papering over catastrophe was the main fuel for the corrections under Biden. My mortgage was locked into a great rate during the Obama days.
