It may take some time for him to learn to be a good coach though.
But yea, not ready for something as big as KU.

Self was 6-21 his first season at Oral Roberts. Is that bad at best?
Yes, I know Oral Roberts wasn't good the season before Self got there and I know Free State was very good the season before Sherron took over.
Good, bad, mediocre, whatever, I say seriously - good for Sherron. Maybe not the career path he intended but the guy has a college degree and he's making an honest salary and taking care of his family. That's a lot more than can be said for other people he grew up with/around.

i totally agree

even IF he’s a mediocre (or even shitty) coach, if that’s what he wants to do and can hold a job doing it, then good on him

Nice to hear the commentator describe Christian Braun as ...instant energy off the bench...a member of the National Champion Kansas Jayhawks... during the Denver v Phoenix game last night.

Watching the Nuggets, you can see why Braun, as good as he is, doesn't get much PT. I didn't see him come into the game, and when I first looked up and saw him my instant impression before I knew it was Braun, was who is that little White guy?

His teammate Murray was on fire las night.

He doesn't always look fantastic in this summary, but...

They love Christian braun in Denver. Have all year long. Perfect team first role player and he fits their system. His defense rebounding and hustle is pretty elite already for a rookie wing

When he rotated in during game 1, he was assigned to guard Kevin Durant at times. And actually did a pretty good job in spot minutes guarding him

I was really surprised to see Braun guarding KD, too.
