It’s also reflected in the writing. As we work in a highly regulated industry (as well as one where protecting intellectual property is paramount) we are required to have elaborate documentation on everything. This involves writing reports, technical documentation and regulatory filings (and responding to inquiries about those filings).
I can usually tell the age of the author from the content and the style - those of the generation who grew up getting their information with newspapers and books, those who relied on TV and those who primarily use social media. The quality of writing trends downward in that order

Isn’t like 1 in 5 US adults illiterate?
And more than half are below a 6th grade reading level
Supposedly. I struggle to believe it too.
But at least it’s something I
read somewhere, right?
if we had more books and less tablets I bet that number would improve
I am betting that the percentage of illiterate people who own tablets or who utilize tablets in their education is pretty small. Come on.

Agreed. The ability to create functional, efficient and effective documentation is a skill that is lacking far behind the necessary level with the incoming generation of employees.

huh?
you don't think illiterate people have iPhone, ipads, Amazon tablets etc etc? then how did lobster post here?
I never said a single thing about utilizing them for education......i said quite the opposite in fact.
I said less of them, more books would help people become more literate
your misinterpreting if my fairly simple point is making me question your literacy.....haha

I wonder why America would so overtly rebuke the English monarch? Those damned founders are at it again!

Here by the way is why serious people should not lend serious platforms to loons. Gives them an air of legitimacy.

Maybe if she sat in a muthafuckin slouchy chair while dressed in a sweaty clown suit?

It's insane - as if the media has learned absolutely
nothing from 2016.

Depends on, how you define,
"learned":
...Under questioning from Dominion’s lawyers, Mr. Murdoch agreed with the statement that “It is not red or blue, it is green,” according to the filing and representatives for the companies.

Point is well-taken, but to me it’s the same as the criticism of Rs
still not bucking Trump. At this point, it’s on the individuals, not just the institutions/groups. So, here, this is on Stahl. Giving her imprimatur to Greene, knowing what she knows, and knowing that her contract says whatever it says.

I feel the same way, jfish.

Maybe it's just me but I feel her voice/words cause more "audible damage" to a brain than instruments, pots n pans, and whistles, do to "everyone's ears".

Liberal to English translation:
"She's been identified as a strong voice for the other team, so no matter what the topic or what her opinion is, I will automatically disagree and dislike it, because she was the one that said it"
