Same.
I could stomach losing the streak or having a bad season.
But these dudes didn't look desperate or anything against TT. They just laid down and took it right in the ass....and then DMac reposted a highlight of him getting minutes...with the muscle flex emoji....while the score on the screen during the highlight was 80something to 50something....I don't think less of DMac because of that at all...that just seems to be the mentality of this team. Way too okay with losing or something... I guess we could even presume it's lack of leadership even though I hate that excuse.
I don't remember a team who didn't seem bothered much by losing like this 1 does...but that's all assumptions and emotions, so that's just where I'm at personally.
Mad at Self mostly. He builds the rosters and calls the shots. He got us into a lot of the messes we've been experiencing the last 3 years or so.

He didn’t injure Azubuike or Garrett this season.
Not sure how De Sousa relates to self in this, and you probably don’t either.
Also didn’t make Vick’s problem happen, unless the personal issue was that Self said go back to Memphis. I doubt that.

I think a healthy Udoka is worth 2 wins ( @ WVU, @ Texas ).
Tied with ksu with a great chance to go up ( favored likely closer to 8 or 9 ) tonight.

Injuries happen.
We did fine without Garrett. DOK not so much.
I can't prove anything, and don't need to, but I believe Self knew what Gasnolla was doing for recruits...come.on.man. they're friends....I know it's hard for some to grasp, but it's not wrong for these kids to get money on the side. They deserve it. I think Self knew exactly what was going on with SDS, we just got caught up in a surprising FBI case or nobody would have ever known a thing. Self could very well have the same opinion about the rules as JFish has, or I have, or tons of people. If he cares about these kids, and he does, he wants them to get what they deserve. Or are worth.
Self might not have said go back to Memphis, but he might have said bye-bye. My belief is Vick was kicked off the team.

The whiffs on Grimes and Moore have really, really hurt.

After seeing what we have seen, I eould have rather lost Dedric than Dok. Call me crazy. But I think Dok is more of a problem.

No way. Azubuike is one of the most efficient offensive players I've ever seen, yet he's no more than a 13 ppg scorer. There's a reason for that. He's also a below average rebounder for the position.

I think it's closer than we think - Dok brings a good deal more of a defensive presence - but I'd still rather have Dedric this year.

Big 12 tourney is irrelevant and we should boycott it.

If things play out as expected, KU will finish 24-7 or 23-8 before the B12 tourney.
27-7 might still get us a 2 seed so the tourney is worth something.

Depends on how we finish the regular season. We may need a few shiny wins to get the seed we want. All our good wins were with Dok, who will not be playing for us any more.
I think we are going to be lower seeded than the projections have us if the weigh the accomplishments of the team we actually have on Selection Sunday.

Any scenario?
Share B12 title with ksu, loose 1st round B12 game, loose 1st round NCAA tourney game as a 3 seed by 30, Grimes, Ochai, Dotson, Udoka, Dedric all leave for the pros?
If I had the choice between these 4 returning: Udoka, Ochai, Grimes, Dotson OR finishing 2nd this year, leaving the streak at 14, a record that stands alone and which won't be broken, i'll take that 2020 roster.
Isn't Gonzaga currently sitting on 10 or 11 years in a row of winning the conference?

They've won 6 in a row.
2011-2012 St Mary's won the conference.

My bad. It was 11 when it ended in 2012.

2 weeks ago the Committee released the seeds and we were #12 overall (3-seed). They said they took into account Udoka Azubuike's injury, which kept us from being a 2-seed.
As you are aware, we are 3-1 since that release. It's hard to see anything drastic happening.

The last time we were lower than a 2?
2009 where we led 2 seed Michigan State with under 2 minutes left.

Sherron really f'd the end of that game up.
Turnover, fouled Lucas on an and one, missed front end of 1 and 1 with 20 seconds left, down 3.

Sherron had rough Marchs after 2008.
