I remember Marino playing KU and throwing frozen ropes. Lost a home and home in 1979 and 1980. Threw his first TD pass in college against KU. As I remember it, they only lost one time each year. Would love to have that kind of disappointment here.

What a crappy Thanksgiving slate.
Texans/Lions - Yuck
Skins/Cowboys - WHO WANTS TO GO 4-7!
Ravens/Steelers - Ravens in a free fall and will be without top 2 RBs. But still a physical game and could be a close one.

That's probably the only football I would have watched.
KU is on during the other games - so maybe during halftime of KU.

All 3 Denver QBs out tomorrow. Current emergency QB is Royce Freeman.
Backup QB tested positive and all QBs deemed close contact because it was proven they didn’t wear their masks around each other.
Full on idiots.

It's fun to make fun of the broncos, but this could easily happen to any team under the current NFL climate.
What a dumb move by the league not to have multiple built in bye weeks for teams.

I predict the Steelers / Ravens game gets "postponed" past Tuesday.
Ravens have 18 players on the Covid list.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/304 ... t-total-18
Selfishly, it sucks for me because I have a bunch of Steelers (and Jackson) on my fantasy squad and have no idea what to do.

Also really dumb that NFL teams are not quarantining a QB. I think Chiefs have with Matt Moore. I don’t think he’s around the team at all, really. For instances like this.

NFL teams should absolutely have a QB not in contact with the other QBs this season.

Raiders did their Raider thing. Another late season collapse coming after a loss to KC.

NFL should be embarrassed over the end of the Patriots/Cardinals game. Pats just won because of a late hit call against the Cardinals...for hitting Newton when he was still inbounds, even with room to turn upfield.

That's being a bit vague.
I assume you watched it.
A) It was helmet to helmet.
B) He had the first down regardless of the call.
C) There was still time on the clock for them to move the ball in to field goal range.

A - it wasn't (and that wasn't the call)
B - this added fifteen yards
C - they were
dreadful offensively; 179 yards of total offense

A - It was. See video below. The call was "unnecessary roughness". Which leaves a window open to the definition/interpretation of what actually transpired but a "helmet to helmet" hit falls under "unnecessary roughness". Right?
https://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/pos ... -roughness
B - Right. It added 15 yards but as I said, it was still a first down regardless - AND as I said, there was still 50 seconds on the clock.
C - Ok, so they were "dreadful" offensively before that drive. And?
D - You said, "Pats just won because of a late hit call".
I disagree they won "because" of it.

Huge game next week. Browns at Titans. Winner of that matchup has the upper hand on getting the 3 seed.

Thankfully I turned the shit off early. When I watched the defense playing crap football I knew they had zero chance.
Here is my question that of course has been asked and thought about before - and will haunt me for the rest of my life.
If ifs and buts were candies and nuts......
If the Bears drafted Mahomes would they have probably won the 2018 (played in 2019) Super Bowl?
