I feel like usually the Thurs games are pretty quiet, no real upsets, then Friday happens, and by the afternoon it's crazy, leading into the weekend madness.

Very much so. Thursday early games are often dead, almost every game starts slow. This has been a nice early slate today.
Tech gave up a big run to end the first half.
