Not the best spot for Brown but you'd think he can emerge as a top 24 ( low end WR2 ) kinda guy for weeks 10-16.

And Brady is still a top 10 quarterback in the league.
Not a top 10 fantasy quarterback however.

Brady certainly hasn't been great, but he is still a top 10 QB based off his experience and intelligence alone.
He's 13th in fantasy scoring in my league. Meh.
Well ya, wouldn't touch him in fantasy, but real life is a different story.

Hence the conversation in the fantasy football thread.

Woohoo, Davante Adams, projected to win by 42.
Tyler Lockett happens.
Now I need 80ish yards and a touch from ARob.
Or...I start David Montgomery...( if I was down, say, 8 i might do this, but I think ARob has the biggest chance to boom ).

Whoops - someone dropped Jamaal Williams a week too early.
Welcome to my flex spot.

QB streaming this week:
Carr @ LAC
Bridgewater @ KC
Cousins v DET
Tua @ Zona
I currently have Carr and I think I’m sticking with it.

Yes. Definitely not Tua. Ever.
Carr is the safe bet. Bridgewater a sneaky play because KC will put up a bunch of points so he will be high activity and could easily get 2 TDs.

Phillip Rivers could be a sneaky play if he is out there too. I like him better than cousins or tua for sure...and he is coming off 2 good games and has a decent matchup at home against BAL who could/should put up points.

I’m not playing Rivers v the Ravens defense.

Fair enough, but they are ranked 15th against QBs this year....so not nearly as intimidating as years past.
Gave up 28pts to Pit, 28 to Philly, 34 to KC, 17 to Wash, 16 to Hou....cleveland 6 and cincy 3 are their only games holding opponents to a really low scoring total.
I would still go with Carr because he has a good matchup too against the 4th worse defense against QBs. But just throwing out options.
You had Tua on your list for goodness sakes. Rivers is a much better option than him.

Ravens also without one of their top defensive guys due to covid, I believe. It wouldn’t be a bad play, but Carr might be a tad better.

Colts D is good, so i do see a scenario where that game stays under 40ish total points....which would not be ideal. If it gets into the 50s i don't see many scenarios where rivers doesnt have 250 ish yds and 2 ish TDs

Speaking of Colts D, i'm still rolling them out v Balty.
Their schedule gets pretty nasty after maybe one of the easiest stretches so now we'll see if they are for real.

Hell ya.
I think they are still a top 3 defense fantasy wise this season..maybe even #1. Haven't looked in a week or 2.

They are 1st.
We'll see if that's because of their schedule.
Next 4 weeks: BAL, TENx2, GB.

My for-money fantasy team is showing signs of life. Justin Jefferson appears to be locking me in for a 5th straight win that would move me up to the #3 seed in the league. This is also my roughest bye week.
If Aaron Jones gets rolling again, I could make a nice run.

I go against Jefferson in a huge game ( 5 v 7 ) this week - he's a nightmare.
Need 2 of 3 to clinch in that league.
Going hot and heavy to the waiver wire for my FLEX as a number of guys on bye.
Watkins, Michael Pittman, Salvon Ahmed, Hayden Hurst, Taysom Hill, Jalen Raegor.
Hopefully I get at least one of em.

I could use some advice.
Knockout pool...
You Are Still In! Of the 26410 people playing - you and just 2856 others are still in at this point.
Problem is this week I have to choose between.....
Arizona over Seattle
Philadelphia over Cleveland
Either Atlanta or New Orleans
Either Cinci or Washington
Either Detroit or Carolina
Jacksonville over Pittsburgh
Baltimore over Tennessee
Either New England or Houston
Either NY Jets or L.A. Chargers
Either Miami or Denver
Minnesota over Dallas
Las Vegas over KC
L.A. Rams over Tampa Bay.
