"Hi, Coach. Haven't heard from you in awhile. Hope things are great. Yeah, things are pretty crazy over here too. What can I do for you?"

Had ESPN2 on for a bit last night and I thought I saw ( sound was off ) a Kansas women's recruit ( a Jayhawk graphic came up when they showed her ) playing in the McDonald's All American JamFest? Is that correct?

Also LOL with the winner of the dunk contest.
One person jumps over someone sitting in a chair and the other person jumps over three people standing up.

That’s a force out. Hopefully he can get a waiver.

Of course. There’s no reason to play him over Braun or McBride next year.

Remember when Self joked they might have some sets with Jamari at the 1? Yeah, I can't say I felt more comfort with Charlie doing it.

Honestly, I hope Self stops recruiting OAD players entirely. Since 2010, not one OAD KU player played in a Final Four. The only seasons since 2010 that Kansas did not have a OAD player active on their roster were 2012, 2013 and 2018. Kansas made the Final Four in 2 of those 3 seasons.

LOL

Correlation vs causation

You've got to put the right pieces around OADs for success in march/april.

Teams full of Charlie Moores and KJ Lawsons don't make the final 4 either. Be careful what you wish for.

The list of teams nationwide that succeed in the tourney with OAD players is very short. Duke and Kentucky will be watching the Final Four being played by lower ranked recruits who stuck around for a few years.

Josh Jackson had the freaking National PoY around him and we still didn't make the Final Four.
