let’s see. we win the regular season. we are in the conf tourney final. we are in line for a 1 seed. and the social medias are discussing how to run a kid off. maybe this is what HCBW was talking about.

Who's trying to run him off?

Harris is a useful player when used correctly.
The problem is that Bill has a habit of not being very good at using guys like him correctly (specifically, cutting bait when it's clear that what he can give you is not what you need).

Other than watching Derrick Rose just cook his guards alive and knowing he had to go with the more talented Sherron, there's just not a lot of examples of him cutting bait with his guards.

Exactly. Why would we run off a useful player? Is there something I don't know about Harris in the locker room or something? Confused. People that want to run him off are definitely in the wrong.

I've probably been the biggest Harris hater on this board, but his appeal is apparent when Och and others are in a groove.
Sort of the definition of "winning in spite of."

That said, the media sure seem to think that this is a sign that Remy is going to continue to get extended and even more run, so let's see it.
I'm guessing if Remy's minutes increase, a lot are going to be with Harris, not in place of him.

A nice spring Saturday and MICH woke up full of piss and vinegar. Banned from twitter, so had to grumble here.

How does your mind translate
"Harris is a useful player"
to
" how to run a kid off"

Yesufu is not a PG...he'll play some point, but he'll never take the starting spot from Harris.

Och
Dajuan
Mitch
Remy
Yes
JCL
KJ
Zach
Fran mentioned about 35 times how we're not deep. Which I think is bullshit.
If I'm told any of those bottom 4 are going to be needed for 10-15 minutes...I'm not panicking.
Not using depth and not having depth are two different things.

Which is more likely:
Yes develops enough of a PG/“lead guard” game for Self to trust him with the keys to the Ferrari?
- or -
Dajuan develops enough of a scoring game of his own to not be such a black hole offensively?
Maybe that should be asked in the 22-23 lineup thread

Were any of Sherron (career high 5.7 A/40), Tyshawn (6.7), Frank (5.7) or Devon (4.6) really point guards, in the traditional sense?
Particularly since going four-out, our offense has really sung with lead guards who also hunt buckets. This is true even for Devonte (who did average 7.7 A/40) in his AA season.

I’d say that’s just an overall basketball trend.
