Sucks to be him. Well, as much as getting paid 17 million for being a mediocre player can suck.

Yeah. He cashed in. He's getting old. Probably not worth that on the court anymore. He had a few good years tho. This trade felt like a salary dump by the clippers. Shipping him to rebuilding washington

At the time they were drafted I thought guys like BRush, TRob and McLemore would have longer more successful careers than the Morris twins.
I was incorrect.

Once again, and I think this is where people are underrating Wilson - athleticism is overrated.

Athleticism gets you drafted high. But to stick around the league long term you've gotta have a skillset and high bbiq

Brush and BMac both played like a decade in the league.
They could both shoot.
And Rush's career, at least, was hampered by injury.
BMac may have played more like an undersized wing than a guard, too.
But yea, I thought TRob would find a niche, as athletic and high-motor as he was. I guess blame lack of a jumper? And/or tweener size.
For that matter, I thought Devon Dotson might sniff a roster too, just cuz he was so damn quick. But without a jumper, nor solid PG skills, alas...
I guess the takeaway is you gotta be skilled to make the league. You gotta be able to shoot, in particular.
But, despite his below-the-rim style, emphasizing skills makes me feel slightly more optimistic for Jalen's prospects.

If you can shoot, you can play. There are a ton of athletes with the gift of Ben Simmons mid-range jumper. And competitive cowardice.

A while back Marcus and Markieff had virtually identical nba stat lines - like 7250 to 7248 points thru the 2020 season.
Marcus a better run since

I was impressed with the size of crowds at the games. Prob better than your average D1 game (as long as they aren’t playing KU)

David McCormack reflects on his playing days for Kansas Basketball and opens up about his post-Kansas basketball career.
"...bro, honestly, I kid you not, I can't make it up. It's almost like a mindset of, if we practice 3 hours and win by 15, if we practiced for 6 hours, we'd win by 30..."
