“I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.”
I'm not saying Obama didn't say that but......
Unless I am mistaken, ONE person ALLEGEDLY heard him say that.
Who can/will collaborate with Gaspard and claim they also heard Obama say it too?
So..... There really is no proof he ever actually said it - other than it being "hearsay"? Am I right?
If he did say it, I think we can agree that he didn't say it to the "American public".
Obama was far from being a completely "modest" President and no doubt he had/has a large ego but we all know he's no Donald Trump in terms of boasting. Just ask Donald....

Honestly, I can't think of a single thing about Trump that would be even remotely interesting.
if I did hang out with him, my questions for him would be things along the lines of, "is it true that you weren't rich or famous enough to attend Jeffrey Epstein's parties?

I'd ask him if he's secretly in love with Rosie O'Donnell.

HD -
I've had numerous conversations with BO - without him "reading his lines".
While he may not be as "eloquent" without a teleprompter and a good speechwriter, I assure you he is very articulate and does a good job of expressing his thoughts.
Hey, did BO mostly talk about how much smarter he was than everyone else?
Yes.
lulz
of course you’d think so

Just watched his tweet to the Jews last night. LOL!
Guy has no clue about Passover. Jews "sitting closely knit together at Temple"? Really?
You would think he might know how his Jew Daughter, Jew Son-In-Law, and Jew Grandchildren celebrate the holiday but that would be giving him too much credit for actually giving a damn about their faith.
But hey - I'l still give him credit for the nice gesture. Thanks President Trump!

Quick search turned up the following regarding Obama's quote:
"This quote was attributed to Obama by Patrick Gaspard, who was Obama’s first White House political director, in an interview with The New Yorker in November 2008."

Funny, some folks sure had a big problem with "well, I talked to someone that heard him say it" as part of the Russia investigation. Now suddenly, they are totally accepting of that level of validation as fact.

Do they practice?
Great question. I know in the past they at least pretended they did because they would share photos on social media.
I didn't bother to look this year.

Hey, far fetched theory but C and G look similar on a teleprompter.

Shocking.
Imagine being a grown adult who doesn't know the difference between uncorroborated unnamed sources, who could literally be anybody, and vetted, public, friendly sources.

Eh, the people who testified named exactly who they had these conversations with. Do you not remember the GOP hysteria about "yeah, but you didn't hear that directly from the President's mouth"? The examples I was referring to were not "unnamed sources".
