I think a peace deal requires some awareness - that on some grander objective global level, aggressive nato expansion to the east may be just as problematic as aggressive Russian expansion to the west.

Put another way - are you willing to finally consider that maybe - just maybe - the US’s own warmongering might be part of the problem too?

I haven't looked at this much at all but...it would be standard fare for the Russians to use a double (or use/manipulate old footage).

I suspect it has to do with using Twitter/X as a primary source of news. Since Elon adopts Putin’s talking points, and creates an ecosystem that, most charitably, is not-unfriendly to amplification of Putin’s talking points…what you get on Twitter/X is heavy on Putin talking points.
