BWW Chad's ultimate metric is nattys and nattys alone.
Who cares about him?

It's completely fair.
Not really, its a factor, a largely weighted factor..but not really the ultimate metric of defining success. But i know your set on your stance in this particular topic.

Is there a measure that's bigger/more important?

Theres 35ish games a season. A single elimination tournament shouldn't be the only factor in determining success

If you ask any KU basketball fan that was a fan during the time about Roy Williams's tenure, what is being brought up within a couple of sentences?

Never said it was. We might just be arguing semantics.

Great coach, had some of the best teams in basketball, and had some of the best Kansas players play for him - Paul Pierce, Raef LaFrentz, Nick Collison and Kirk Hinrich. Was pretty bullshit of him to say that he was going to stay at Kansas for life and then a couple years later, leave the team he recruited after he lost in the National championship for a stocked UNC squad - but was pretty cool that he wore a sticker when we won it in 2008.

I like it. The most wins all time in CBB. Taking it away from UK and Cal. I like it even more.

you’re joking about the sticker, right?

I honestly thought it was cool.
He got a lot of shit for it.
He didn't have to be there - but he showed and supported Kansas.
Not enough for me to forgive him for bouncin from KU like he did but sweeping his UNC teams in the tourney have helped with that some.

It's completely fair.
I agree with respects to all sports except NCAA Basketball and FIFA World Cups.
In those sports I believe the ultimate measure of success should be quarterfinals or Elite 8 appearances.

I think that's fair, although I'd move it to Final Fours, especially for the elites. Both those criteria account for the the nation(world)wide competition.

Man this was fun to watch last year. This year Cal went to cupcake city for non-conf and they have played only two teams really and lost both of them. They are down to three games ahead of us in all time wins and play us 12 games from now. It would be epic for this to be in play on Jan 29th.
