Super Bowl Ads are going to be very, very metaverse heavy. I don't think it can be stopped as the new frontier. Lot of NFT stuff this weekend, too.

Trying to imagine how that big meeting went.

“Our stocks tanked and our reputation is in the shitter, so what sort of super bowl ads will make us look appealing again?”

Umm, how bout we get the Chuck E. Cheese band back together?

It ain't my thing, but I think Gen Z is going to go all in on it. I think this weekend we will see that the biggest companies in the world are betting big on it.

Isn’t Gen Z where meta is loosing/not attracting followers, too?

To me it seems like the whole meta thing appeals most to gamers; those who are already used to hanging in some virtual world.

It’ll be interesting to see if those gamers, and broader demographics yet, also wanna adopt a virtual product for more everyday commerce and networking.

Meta is not metaverse, and Facebook App is not metaverse. Facebook the social medium is what is about non-existent in Gen Z world. Instagram is very popular. So is Oculus.

I think the metaverse is also appealing to losers who sit on reddit all day. And I think could become increasingly popular amongst the elderly.

Good point.

So it’s more so a grab by individual tech giants to maintain their control of user access to the metaverse.

Meanwhile, there’s some “web3” movement, looosely defined thus far, but one general ideal is to eliminate all the big tech middlemen

This is correct now but won't be in the future.

It'll fuck it up.
We're on a sports bored -- I think sports stars will become less of a big deal when worlds can be created where you are the sports star and it feels real.
Us olds will watch our real sports and our grandkids will be all, lolz, who are those geezers.

There will also be augmented tools as well - glasses for starters - but then I actually think chips into the skull ( i'm not crazy ) that will be hooked up to a network so that data can be easily accessed directly to the brain.

Us olds will explain to our grandkids that we had to type shit into these handheld tablet deals to look things up. Then they'll access the data, get some content about those old times, and go, man, lolz, who are those geezers.

Law enforcement of the metaverse will be interesting.

Then again, I guess we’re already seeing that, with the property rights of cartoon monkeys and shit.

You should watch the movie "Free Guy." Pretty good movie in its own right, but also a peek into what one person might envision.
