"Pat Mahomes Sr., the father of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, was arrested in Texas Sunday for driving while intoxicated for the third time or more, online records showed."
Mahomes' family certainly does not have their shit together.
I wonder if he was smoking a Joe Burrow or a Lamar Jackson blunt.
Sr. has a problem. One of Sr's sons has a problem.
That's why I cringe when I see Jr. getting fucked up other than when he is celebrating big wins.

Or as a millionaire ('s son) have a driver if you're going out. One drunk mistake behind the wheel and you can throw it all away.

That's a self inflicted wound. Fortunately, he didn't inflict any others.

Oh, and it's his 3rd DUI, which makes it potentially a felony thar could send him to prison for 10 years.

Yikes.
Can't say I'll miss his classy drunken/high behavior on the field after SB victories.

Poor Patrick.
The kind of crap he has to deal with regularly due to his brother and father wears away at you.
Not to mention the way it undercuts his brand.

I have also not always liked his wife, but after watching the Quarterbacks Netflix special I understand her a little more.

Me too.
Living in Texas for a bit, she is no different than the Texas older former cheerleaders that scream just a bit too loud when their drunken husband jumps off a diving board

Money doesn't buy class or smarts. It just magnifies how classy you already are (or aren't) and how smart you are (or aren't).

Just need the legend to focus. I am hoping his dad gets the help he needs--but he seems to be kind of a cold man. Would not have wanted to be around when he was drunk and angry as a kid.

which doesn’t excuse the brother’s behavior, but definitely adds context

Was listening to the radio on the way home today. Dan Orlovsky picked the Chiefs to win, and said Pat would finish with five Super Bowl wins.
Man.
If he wins this one, he'll have three at age 28 (and will have won one in something of a transitional year). I guess you might set the O/U at 5.5...but the under would be +110 or something.

Saw a funny question:
Does Mahomes finish with more super bowl rings than his dad finshes with DUIs?
