One of them will be here to tell us all that the real global cabal of sex trafficking set up Ballard before he could expose them and that he is a true hero.

Now now, Ballard brought the media’s attention to sex trafficking, didn’t he? I’d say mission accomplished, what a hero.

OK fish you've been trying hard to get my attention here for some reason. I'm against child sex trafficking from any source. I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. The movie still was a good thing, bringing awareness to something that the system tries to sweep under the rug. If someone associated with the movie is also guilty of said crimes, it shows how bad of a situation we have. And further reinforces our need to secure our border

You weirdos sure accept a LOT of bad things happening so long as the bad things “bring awareness” to your pet causes.

Whoops, I probably shouldn’t use “pet.”

In no way did i accept it. Reread what i just posted. I'm against human trafficking of any source. You for some reason are celebrating it, because this guy was connected to a movie that your hivemind told you not to watch. It's kind of sickening

You guys are taking a situation that is bad as a whole, and turning it into a my team vs your team thing. It's pretty pathetic

randylahey wrote: Thu Aug 03, 2023 9:02 am Just brings up a lot of weird questions. How closely was this guy connected to the movie? One of a group of people funding is the closest I could connect him. Not like he was closely tied to it. But why was he helping fund this movie while being a weirdo at the same time?

Was it just an investment?
Guilty conscious?
Was he trying to throw people off his trail?
Make it make sense lol
You have tried to tell us that anyone who says anything negative about this movie is pro child sex trafficking. I and others here have pointed out that there are serious issues with the movie - who is behind it and why, and what people on the right are using it for, and what can and does happen in real life because of fear porn like this.

This piece of data suggests those concerns we have raised - which you have repeatedly minimized and deflected - are quite warranted. I would be surprised if this is the only wart on the movie’s ass.
If I understand the rules here, all of this makes me right?

Game recognize game, Randy?

You've gained zero respect or recognition, quite the opposite. What point are you trying to prove? What do you think you are right about? The only stance I've taken is that child sex trafficking is bad, and more needs to be done to stop it. Anyone and everyone involved should be held accountable, regardless of their politics.

There's a major hub of for profit child sex trafficking that occurs in our country. And you are trying to turn it into some kind of message board victory because 1 person associated with 1 movie is being accused of it. It's a weird move, even for you fish. It's beyond weird, weird to the point of being creepy

??

I'm condemning a situation as a whole. You and your little lib buddy are playing the message board gotcha game and it's coming off really creepy. So it's this where you guys officially declare yourself pro child sex trafficking? To claim victory against a movie being made

No one here “supports” human trafficking. To suggest otherwise is dumb.

As for me - I think it would take something away from, like, The Handmaid’s Tale, if Margaret Atwood was just a pen name for Amy Coney Barrett.

Damn it, first “pets,” now religion as a fig leaf for stripping away women’s body autonomy. Really hitting all of the high notes here.

Anyhoo, hopefully this experience will cause you to think twice before you throw your weight behind obvious culture war fearporn grift.
