Or if they get fortunate if they trade up to land one of the top 3 QBs.

His defense is set. They are pretty young.
He has a stud RB and a top TE ( that's under utilized ).

Just get to the playoffs and see what happens.

He is also just 14 wins away from being the winningest coach of all time. We might think that's superficial but if you're there in that position, you're thinking about it. He could get that in two years in ATL.

Finally, Bill is a stubborn motherfucker. I'm sure a good part of him wants to thumb his nose at the doubters - and that could even include the Pats organization.
Agreed. We'll see what comes out of this press conference today to see if he plans to continue. I would be surprised if he does not.
Pfub is right this is perfect spot. Bill can get Josh as OC and maybe Vrabel as DC head coach in waiting.

Grab Cousins they winning 14 games quick.

Devil's advocate Gutter says.....
* The Falcons could grab Mahomes and they aren't winning 14 games quick.
* Cousins is 35 (will be 36 before the season starts) coming off an Achilles injury. Wilson and Fields are huge question marks. Could be All-Pros on the Falcons but probably a better chance they could/would be bottom 20 QBs.
* His defense isn't set. His defense is (or at least was) in the lower 50% of the league.
* What does age have to do with anything? Yeah, he could work with and develop young guys but I'm pretty sure he would rather have 11 35 year old All-Pros on his defense than 11 24 year old whatever players. He currently has 1 2nd team All-Pro player on the defense.
* Stud RB? Who Robinson or Allgeier? Neither are top 10 RB
* Top TE? Who? Pitts or Smith? Neither are a "top" TE.
* Glass half empty, the Falcons were 15 points away from being 3-14. Right? Yes, I know they lost close games too but facts are facts.

What’s more likely to result in at least one fan fatality:

1. Lightning within 10 miles of a stadium.

2. 70k people driving to and from a stadium in snowy/icy roads?

It's good to keep 70,000 people off the road in those conditions.

Today's NFL Playoffs.
60s and sunshine in Houston. They're playing inside.
Below 0 in Kansas City. They are playing outside.

Who could have guessed that Joe Flacco would not, in fact, lead this team to the Super Bowl?

I thought it’d be closer than this.
We could see them if we win and the Bills loose.

That's pretty impressive.
Moral of the story is.... The most important member of a team doesn't wear a uniform and play on the field?

The moral of the story is that you shouldn't get desperate when you think you're "just a QB away from a Super Bowl".

Wow. What a list.

And all they actually needed was Joe Flacco.

The Deshaun Watson trade has a very good chance at being the worst in NFL history.

Yeah, and can't help but laugh at an organization that pushed all the chips in on a guy like that.
