I think Trad was probably talking about the "new guard" being internationally born. Or maybe internationally known to rock the microphone?

But I feel what you're saying. He's American now.

Yes, probably a better chance of winning GOLD with the USA but......
France won the Silver in the last Olympics.
France won more medals in the past 3 FIBA than the USA won.
I'm just sayin'.

Embiid trying to carry a team from Cameroon would be awesome.

So Wembanyama had a career-high 40 points to go with 20 rebounds in a duel with Knicks' guard Jalen Brunson who had 61 points.

According to ESPN Stats & Information research, it's only the second time in NBA history that one player had a 40-point, 20-rebound game and another had a 60-point contest. The other instance came in 1961 when Elgin Baylor scored 63 points and Wilt Chamberlain had 78 points and 43 rebounds.

So Wilt....lord unstoppable.

Also silly is that he played 63 minutes (triple overtime), had 62 FG attempts, shot 31 free throws - and had 1 assist.

31-62 ( his line ) is still quite efficient especially considering you know he was being double and triple teamed.

Yes, of course efficient shooting. Maybe the most efficient overall game in NBA history?

Baylor had 63 and 31 in the game, so I guess BOTH Wilt and Baylor (and their teammates) weren't too efficient playing defense. Well, maybe not true being the Lakers shot 41% and the Warriors shot 37%?

Unlike Baylor and Wilt, West had a triple double in the game.

Speaking of INefficiency - On offense, Arzin shot 6-23, Meschery shot 4-17, Conlin was 2-9, Gola was 2-15.
Although, Gola had 14 rebounds - and 14 more assists than Wilt had.

Lakers are done. 2 games ago it looks like a possible 7 or 8 seed. Not it is looking like a probable 10 seed and would have to win two road Play In games. 100% unacceptable and someone/multiple people need to be held responsible. I say it should be everyone from the owner to the GM to the coach/es to the players to the guy that cleans the toilets in the locker room. JUNK!

P.S. If AD isn't concussed, he should be forced to take a dozen Excedrin, a dozen Dramamine, and stick a dozen tampons up his ass before the Grizz game on Friday.

P.S.S. I think there is a decent chance LeBron played his last home game as a Laker last night.

It's NOT funny that I am as wound up about the Lakers as I am. I've been a Lakers fan for a long time but all this recent angst comes from my selfishness in/for not being able to see a game in person next week - when in reality, the Lakers are doing me a favor by saving me money.
Anyway/s......

Brief conversation last night with someone who's family have been season ticket holders for the Lakers for many years.....
Gutter - "Lakers are killing me and their fans. Do you think AD has a concussion"?
Him - "No. I think Darvin Ham is a terrible coach".
Gutter - "Not sure what that has to do with AD not playing but ok".
Him - "The Lakers would be a top 4 seed right now if Nick Nurse was their coach".
Gutter - "Nick Nurse hasn't been such a great coach this season without Joel Embiid playing for him".
Him - "Darvin Ham stinks".
Gutter - "Got them to the conference finals last year.
Him - "And they got destroyed". (They really didn't get "destroyed" - sure they got swept but every game was close).
Gutter - "I think the Lakers probably would have been better off keeping Vogel but he is proving to me that he's overrated. I really don't know who I think is a great coach anymore. I'm not sure I can name 5 VERY good let alone 5 great NBA coaches right now. Can you"?
Him - "I can name at least 25 that are definitely better than Darvin Ham".

I guess I can't say I feel he's wrong.
