I would take Mahomie over anyone/everyone but......
I can all but promise anyone/everyone Mahomie isn't the 2018 and 2022 MVP if he played for the Jags with the same players and coaches the Jags had in 2018 and 2022.
P.S. No, I don't think Trev Law would have been MVP if he was the QB for the 2018 and 2022 Chiefs.

Umm......T Law first year in the league was 2021 and unfortunately his coach was Urban Meyer. Don't think it could have been any worse. The Jags had the #1 pick in 2020 and 2021 and then in 2022 they make playoffs and 2023 they were 8-3 and T Law gets hurt and keeps on playing.

Yes Sunshine Boy thinks he is invincible and runs too much and takes sacks and throws too many int's but
he learning. They should have made the playoffs ly and then you have tragic Urban year and boom playoffs.

Name me all the QB's you want instead of Sunshine Boy.

Disclaimer: I am not Jags fan I just live one town over and know a lot of them.

A LOT to be taken in to consideration. If I am talking about a guy I want to be my QB for the next 5 years, it may be different than if I am talking about a guy I want to QB my team this season - and worry about the following seasons later.
I'll throw out some names off the top of my head in regards to who I would probably want instead of him. I don't expect you to agree.

P. Mahomes
L. Jackson
J. Allen
C.J. Stroud
J. Love
J. Burrow
K. Murray
D. Prescott
J. Goff (would be perfect on the Jags = JagGoff)
J. Herbert
M. Stafford
T. T(however you spell his last name)
K. Cousins

D. Watson? (probably not)
C. Williams? ;)

This is not true unless they just clean cut him.
His cap number is very low for 2 years because he signed an extension not a new contract.
If you recall Mahomes played for 7 million in 2021.

It puts Trevor in the drivers seat for years 29 and 30. Sure he very well may restructure but he doesn’t have to…and he has a no trade clause as well.

It’s not as bad as initially thought though but it is a lot of money for a quarterback who has the most turnovers by any in the last three years and with an average TD/INT ratio of 19/13.
You have to see through the smoke and mirrors. It's a five year deal except they add six and seven..ok
They are not going to happen. Most likely sign another extension wipe out those years and move on but those are in there to make it look like a Burrows deal when in fact it is more of a Dan Jones deal.

He was on rookie deal and to date has made $31 million and he now is going to get $40 million every year for the next five. He good.

Yeah I was not thinking one year. Was thinking the five, the future of your franchise.

Trevor has the leverage for the last two years though unless they just simply want to loose him for absolutely nothing.

Sunshine boy is the face of the Franchise. He has leverage but he won't push it. This isn't a Dak situation where it could be possible the Cowboys just let Dak walk.

No no Sunshine Boy lost like two games in College. He also threw four interceptions in the first half against the Chargers in his first playoff start. Then in the second half they came back and won.
Then his next game they lost to the Chiefs at Arrowhead 27-20. Which you know we ok with.

Sunshine Boy is pretty average. Where you played in college can influence winning. Cough cough, Mahomes.

Lawrence was 10th in passing yards and was around 11th in comp% among regular starters. He throws too many INTs but he is definitely better than average. He isn't worth what he is being paid but JAX was willing to pay him that vs. risk trying to replace him. There just isn't a reliable enough flow of QBs out of college to take a risk on giving up on a guy ranked somewhere in the 10-15 rank at the QB position. Jacksonville has seen how bad it can be without a competent QB. They are way better with him than without him.

He is closer to an average starter than an elite one in the league but yes, absolutely better than an average quarterback.

He seems to be sort of on the Matt Ryan/Phil Rivers level (although he gets there a completely different way of course).

Matt Ryan won an MVP though.
I'm not certain if Trevor ever will.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

No, he's a normal dude. She's an odd chick. She likes fucking "old" dudes. Her last boyfriend was old enough to be her grandfather too.
Gee, what do you think they talk about at dinner? Cosmetology (her college major) or Cover 2s?
One more question. Do you think if she had a choice between dating Belichick or Brady she would choose Belichick?

I dated 24 when 33 and it was great.
But now? Yea there’s a good chance im with TDub…she would have to be beyond her years in emotional intelligence. Also BUD would not like it.
