I was texting with three women during the debate, my sisters, suburban white women, all college educated. One of the three is a former R voter, cuz money. All three were most incensed by trumpty plumpty's entitled demand to speak out of turn.

"why does he get to keep speaking?"

I pointed out that the more he spoke the more pissed off they were at him. I suspect this was the reaction of the vast majority of the women watching.

trumpty keeps pitching the "crime" and "immigrant" thing and "making women feel safe" again. Last night he reminded them that he is the embodiment of every abusive know-nothing man they ever had to deal with in their life.

The only thing that will make them feel safe is to have Kamala sitting in the Oval Office.

I hope they debate again.
I would liken what I saw last night to Oklahoma State meeting MIZZOU in the first round of the tournament and Oklahoma State going up 17 at half and then continuing to pour it on in the second, which leads to MIZZOU's head coach getting ejected, to eventually win by 40.

I don't generally cheer for Oklahoma State but they are B12 and, well, it's MIZZOU.
Would watch.

He reminds women of every overbearing asshole they ever dealt with. And he can't understand why women who aren't on his payroll don't say nice things about him.

He won time of possession, but he was a disaster in the unforced error category.

Think about it, he actually brought up the "black jobs" stuff on his own, no bait, just decided to spew it again. And he brought up the "immigrants are going to eat your dogs and cats" thing without prompting. That is his instinctual response to pressure.

He is the second grader I used to coach in basketball, who when they got double teamed, just threw the ball up in the air and turned around with their arms over their head.

There were other things, too, where he brought in unfavorable points on his own. It is clear that the debate prep he did involved having attack responses ready…but his brain is such mush that once Harris hit him in the crowd size, he lost whatever semblance of strategic thinking he once had.

Again: this is not a person who should be trusted with a cactus.
