Da Bears Guttered themselves.
We don't need to use that stinking timeout.
Morans
Dumbfucks called a timeout earlier in the drive because they are way too slow to get plays in - and called on the field.
Had a great chance to win and both Uberputz and CWont proved they are idiots on that last play.
If there was a way to fuck up the game and find a way not to win it I knew the Bears would do it. They didn't disappoint.

Bears were marching down the field with more than a minute left. Dinner was almost done. I turned to Mrs. 99 and said, wait, I wanna see how da Bears fuck this up.
Sure enough...

CeeDee Lamb is a reason why you don’t pay top 10 WR money.

At least they found someone America’s team could beat.

I don't know anything about the Bears situation or what this portends for their future, (although, I think this is "leverage"), but what I am relatively sure of is that for a plethora of reasons, or another, this is causing our buddy Gutter, pain.
The Bears have been focusing their plans on a new stadium in the city of Chicago for some time now, but they have also just reached a deal with the Village of Arlington Heights on property taxes for the old Arlington International Racecourse property.

Most entertaining thing to me would be if Eberflus is canned Monday and the players do this on his way out.

Example #42312 of how and why the Bears ownership literally doesn't know if it's coming or going.
I have mixed feelings. I'm assuming I will be living in Chicago if/when the new stadium is built. Wherever the new stadium may be. If that's the case, then I prefer they build it in Chicago.
I was with some people last night who know a lot more about sports and politics than I do.
Some interesting things being said/shared.
BIG problem we have right now is that our current Mayor is probably the worst Mayor the city has had in my lifetime. For many reasons. That's saying a lot.
If there is a way for him to fuck up a new stadium being built in Chicago I am extremely confident that is something he can/will succeed at.
I thought they were going to wait until Monday. I thought wrong.
Bigger lulz is that I know the guy Warren wants to replace him isn't interested in the job. Pretty much no matter what they offer him. The Bears organization is a bigger shit show than the White Sux organization is right now.
Dumbfucks will probably promote Brown to HC and then keep him for next season.

A fiasco for what should have been a playoff team

Fiasco - yes.
Should have been a playoff team - maybe. My guess is the odds were against them being a playoff team.
What is sickening is that they were good (instead of bad) coaching decisions and a couple of flukes away from being 10-2 right now.

You had the wrong coach. If the HC would have hired the right OC you would have been fine. He didn't and now he is gone. Either which way your OL has one out of the five it needs.

Bears could have had the best OC in the world and with Eberflus they wouldn't have been "fine".
Better? Sure. "Fine"? I respectfully disagree.
I read that during the Eberflus tenure the Bears had at least eight losses where they had an 80 percent (or better) win probability in the fourth quarter. They blew at least five games where they had at least a 90 percent win probability. I read the odds of losing all those games were 1 in 68 million.
The man was not fully responsible for all those loses but as the Head Coach he was partially responsible. He made some mind blowing coaching mistakes. Too many mind blowing coaching mistakes.
The fact that Poles and Warren brought him back after last season - is shameful - and lazy. They settled for a guy who if they had a clue, should have realized was mediocre at best - and proved he is going to lose you games with his poor decisions (and lack of decisions).

Has anyone ever gone from "GOAT at their position" to "WTF is wrong with this guy" faster than Baltimore kicker Justin Tucker? Missed 2 FGs and an XP tonight. Worst game and season of his career.
He's had the yips all season. Weird.

Wonder if Dr. Pepper is headed to the Bills game against the 49ers tonight?
Buffalo did one of their ask the public to come and dig the stadium out thingies, but it's supposed to snow some more during the game. You have to wonder how much it will impact the 49er players, in their flip flops and island shirts?
