He must be doing a good job since he hasn’t left the White House in months...

That many of you would support Iran for nothing more than to spite Donald Trump is telling.
Do I want to go to war, no. Never. But Im not going to go out there and defend Iran and its awful regime.
I'm confused as to why you posted that.TDub wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 8:25 am Oh good. We get to watch everybody support Iran again. That innocent wonderful country with wonderful leaders.

I dont mean you and was only tangentially related to your tweet.Feral wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 8:45 amTDub wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 8:25 am Oh good. We get to watch everybody support Iran again. That innocent wonderful country with wonderful leaders.

Somebody I've never heard of before predicted two weeks ago that this might happen, and implicated "both" Iran &/or the USA. Minutes ago, as predicted, Trump began going down that very road. In response, someone I've never heard of before responded with the Iranian pov, something I rarely take into consideration, and I found it interesting.
How the hell is that "supporting Iran"?
You get tired of being accused of being a Trump supporter. I'm tired of decades of being accused of supporting the enemy, simply because I don't reflexively swallow the "patriotic" "herd mentality", every time we have a problem in the world.
Pro tip: Retweets are not endorsements.
But, according to you, there are "many on this board" supporting Iran. Glad to know that Gutman is "out." Can you clarify about whom you were speaking of?TDub wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 9:18 amI dont mean you and was only tangentially related to your tweet.Feral wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 8:45 amTDub wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 8:25 am Oh good. umm...the person who thinks that it's dumbfuckery for the President of the United States to instruct the U.S. Navy not to allow itself to be harassed by an Iranian regime desperate for relevance just might, perhaps, be the person who is supporting or defending Iran, if only by logical extension.Grandma wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 8:47 amI'm confused as to why you posted that.TDub wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 8:25 am Oh good. Who do you feel is "supporting" Iran and who do you feel is "defending" Iran?
Umm. Since I'm slow, can you elaborate on who that individual is that thinks "it's dumbfuckery for the President of the United States to instruct the U.S. Navy not to allow itself to be harassed by an Iranian regime desperate for relevance"?DCHawk1 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 10:17 amumm...the person who thinks that it's dumbfuckery for the President of the United States to instruct the U.S. Context matters -- as some tweeters and retweeters know but not all posters care.
