https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/24/politics ... index.html

"Emails obtained by the investigative group Documented through public record requests – and provided to CNN – show how leaders of a coalition called Florida Fair Elections raised objections to language that sought to make it a third-degree felony to harass or intimidate election workers with the intention of interfering with their duties. Within weeks of the group’s lobbying effort, Florida’s Republican-controlled state legislature had stripped the provision from a broad elections bill that passed late last month, which was sent to Gov. Ron DeSantis for his signature on Tuesday."

You know, "election integrity"

It's all part of the plan to choose your voters, rather than take a chance on letting them choose you, comrade:

DeSantis signs bill creating one of the nation’s only election police units

Yep. As Randall has admitted, the rubehandlers desperately want to be in the business of counting every (favorable) vote.

Sickening. Biden should suspend the last several tax cuts in lieu of a debt limit increase. Trump cut withholding by EO during the pandemic. So did W after he crashed economy. Biden should instruct Treasury to withhold at 1999 levels when we had a balanced budget. To keep us from default, the President has extraordinary emergency powers. Yellin should balance accounts by estimating increased revenue streams. Use the limit as a Congressionally mandated ceiling since they say it is.

So, ah.

I believe this is the disgraced Texas AG admitting that suppressing millions of potential votes was necessary and undertaken for purposes of advantaging one side of the election.

He seems to be relying heavily on distribution of mail-in ballots being “illegal” for very tenuous reasons. But he does not dispute - indeed he seems proud - that he had his thumb on the scale.

it seems surreal, that admitting such a thing likely wont even be a blip on the radar
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Unless he's so far around the bend so as to serve (the Rs) as an obvious scapegoat.
