Dok looking to play at a better weight.
If he can actually execute those shots in the game, he has AA candidacy.

Not sure I get the point of slow-moing (?) a bunch of drop-in dunks.

Not sure I get the point of any offseason highlight reel.
( I mean, I get it, but it doesn't do it for me )

With the defender that you cant even call going half speed. Might as well have been a chair.

I'd be more excited to see him just shooting free throws.

Ill cringe to see him shooting free throws, unless or until he starts making them a little more often, at which point then I’d be excited.

That form looked a million times better and the release was way softer. I'm not expecting 70%, but won't be nearly as nervous if he can actually stay true to that form this year and not go back to throwing the elbow way out just before release.

Those are great.
And, necessary. Marketing has to find a way to encourage fans to connect with these guys on a personal basis, after last year's genuine, to-the-core unlikeability.

That's a big "if". Dok had about a dozen different free throw shooting forms last season, none of which he seemed to employ for more than a few shots in a row. Elbow in, elbow out, elbow under, it looked different from shot to shot.
It will take a long time to get that mess fixed. Anything above 50% is a welcome bonus.

I get what you're saying, but it's more than that. This has to do with whether Doke is playable in close-and-late situations. It's a much more serious issue than, for example, whether he has a usable elbow jumper.

Looking forward to seeing Dok and Silvio break some rims this season!

Speaking of whether Dok is playable in close and late situations...
What is an acceptable free throw percentage to consider him playable?
Is Mac a better option late? If nothing else as a better free throw shooter and almost as big?
Is Silvio? Better shooter, and perhaps better at switching on d?

I have no doubt that Bill Self will be looking for answers to those questions in non-con games. It will be an interested development in real games.

You kinda gotta figure Silvio could be a badass small ball 5.
Also, who knows how much time Self will take away from those guys as he gets all sentimental about Mitch.

I don’t know. He yells at Mitch all the stinking time. With a stable of bigs, Bill like Perfection or it’s the bench.
