The least rational actor in the world urges calm and does not “punch back”. And Russia’s most valuable client state is left at status quo. And a Ukrainian airliner is accidentally shot down. It is a flipping miracle, eh? Now for that peace deal that can be miraculously unfurled by Putin and Trump.

This tweet is disgusting.

“All is well“ when assessing casualties and “so far so good” cuz only brown folks died.
This is what people are talking about when they say "manufactured outrage".

This is why people say people are blinded by their hatred for trump.

He finally says something decent and appropriate and this is the response?
I saw reports from some seemingly credible journalists on tweeter saying the pentagon reported “only” Iraqi casualties.

Maybe I got duped by some fake news...lol

If Trump tweeted this strategically to fuck with Iranians, perhaps he deserves some kinda credit. We’ll see.

I don’t hate Trump, and don’t mean to be blinded by hatred. (Speaking of blind hatred, it’s not like I said the dude was the leader of isis or something, right?)

At the very least though I thought it was silly of the potus to exclaim all is well in the same breath as saying the causality and damage assessment was ongoing.

What if there were casualties after all? Or collateral damage — say, a commercial jet full of Ukrainian civilians, or something? Is all well for those folks?

Your first thought was to get riled up about some ill conceived notion to make it about race. That's what I mean by manufactured outrage.

He wasnt responding to the plane accident. If that ends up being caused by the Iranians then that is not "collateral damage" of our conflict. That is irresponsible use of an air defense system by Iran. IF that is the case you cant blame that on trump or America.

Trump announced that it was about his attacks on brown people from the moment he came down his golden escalator.

He has never backed off his birther conspiracies and refuses to admit that he was wrong about the Central Park 5. He's emphasized his disdain for people with brown skin for 3 years. Taking a politician at his word is not "manufacturing" anything.

Link?

I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere that anyone was killed last night in those 2 attacks.

Spend years posting and saying that everything he says is a lie. But believe him when it fits your agenda.

So, let's see if I can get this straight--all these people voted for Trump because of his racism. But, he's not really racist, that's just one more of his lies?

LoL

All trump voters are racist. Not a dangerous generalization at all. All Democrats are insane socialists! Comeon. I dont believe that. I dont believe either of those statements. Its ridiculous.

I actually didn't say "all Trump voters," just a sector of them whom studies have shown voted for him because of their mutual desire to see harm come to people with brown skin.

Trump also didn't say "all mexicans" (or brown people) are murderers rapists or drug dealers.

So because a bad section of humanity voted for him we should hate everything he does and misconstrue every situation into some race argument?

I'm sure some very unscrupulous people voted for obama. Does that mean everything he did was to support that section of his voters? No.

Quit lumping everything into one pot to support your views.

I dont say this often but it seems trump handled the response to last nights strike appropriately and reasonably. Iran gave us an out to deescalate and we took it while still remaining ready. If there is another strike than all bets are off.

He handled it about as well as anyone could hope, especially considering it's Trump.

Iran's response seemed to indicate they knew they had to respond somehow to show strength to their people, but also knew if that response was too severe that it'd likely be game over for them. Sounds like they even gave the heads up to the Iraqis that the strike was coming and intentionally avoided targets that would have resulted in American casualties.

CNN initially was trying to say Iraqi's were killed, but I can't find any confirmation of that today and they even back peddled it last night and said "maybe just some injuries".....it's almost like CNN talking heads were disappointed it wasn't worse so they could say "aha! We told you so"...which is disgusting.

It's interesting to see the reactions on both sides. It's very telling. Everyone has an agenda it seems.
