Rather than spending your entire existence scrubbing the interwebs in search of the worst in people, you could_____________

This episode has allowed the miserablephucques an unlimited platform to practice their miserableness. So my expectations are super low.

I was and am attending a class about the Technical Analysis of stock charts. But I'm flattered by your attention.

Possibly but no doubt plenty of fucknuts in Illinois exist too.
I was tempted to go to the State of Illinois building (in Chicago) yesterday but figured nothing good (for me) would come of it if I did.

Yep, you would waste a day threatening to threaten to kick some asses!

Looks like you missed an opportunity to meet some really interesting people, Gutter. If the crowd in Chicago was anything like this one in California:

Probably wouldn't have spent more than 30-45 minutes there and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have threatened anyone - unless they got in my face. Then I would have told him/her/ them to back off.

so if the Tea-Party types were there and part of the protests, surely they were speaking out against the fiscal irresponsibility of the incumbent administration, right? right?

Actually, who exactly is protesting?

Are they out protesting to be hairdressers and waitresses again?

Or is it other people demanding waitresses and hairdressers go back to work?

Should the service industry have to risk their health and lives cuz Suburban Sally wants bangs?

You do understand that in economies, people are interdependent, right? If suburban mom doesn’t go get her hair and nails did, cosmetologist can’t pay her rent. If cosmetologist can’t pay her rent, landlord can’t make his car payment. If landlord can’t make his car payment, bank employee loses his job. If bank employee loses his job, he can’t pay his kids’ tuition. If tuition can’t be paid, teachers lose their jobs. If teachers lose their jobs, they can’t afford to go to the restaurant. If they can’t afford to go to the restaurant, the restaurant owner’s wife can’t go get her hair and nails did.

Everybody eventually gets stung, except elected officials, who are going to get theirs no matter what.

As for me personally, I think this is a good post.

But I can’t speak for everyone, cuz this is also the kind of post that makes a certain someone ask to speak to your manager.

Just for that sake of responding - I'll give you a response.
I fully understand in our "economy" people are interdependent.
How does people being interdependent in our society/economy apply to the spreading of the virus too? That's just a side question I'm throwing out there.
You finished your post by saying "everybody eventually gets stung".
No one likes to get stung (unless maybe they are a masochist). Thing is, there are different degrees of how getting stung can affect a person. Some people die when they get stung. Some people are in severe pain when they get stung. Some people look at their sting, are a little annoyed, and carry on just fine. Some people don't even realize they have been stung.
I believe my examples apply to what's going on right now.
As far as the elected officials, I could very well be wrong but believe most get their "pay checks" from people paying taxes. They don't, but in theory they could get stung by that.
There are others who are not getting stung right now (or maybe I should say it's to the degree in my last example) besides elected officials.

All that being said, I'm someone who is for people going back to work asap - as long as they can do as such in a manner in which they and others are safe about it. Why wouldn't I be and why wouldn't everyone else feel the way I do?
My last dream this morning before I woke up was me sitting off in a distance watching/listening to a concert with a musician friend of mine. We observed those who didn't give a fuck and were up close packed together and we observed ourselves, off at a "safe" distance.
ALL of us were able to enjoy the music.

Yesterday I took a long walk. As I was nearing my apartment I saw a group of about fifteen 20 something year olds huddled together (all within 2 feet of another person) walking on the sidewalk. Not a single one wearing a mask. Seemingly oblivious to anything and everything other than their group.
As I have been saying for weeks, some people just don't give a fuck - about themselves, and about others.

I think some of us have just decided that we’re done sitting at home waiting to die. If it’s going to happen, so be it. I choose not to be miserable in the meantime.
