LOL. Just out of curiosity, who do you think we should hire

The road officials have allowed a lot of shoves and pushes like at Texas. It does affect the shot too. I think KU will get better crews in the tourney.

You think drew will shut up about the officiating in AFH now?

Me either.

That's why we lost. Not coaching. Even when we jumped out to a big lead we never shot well.

We shoulda been up 24 when we were up 13. And then if we make a couple FTs and a couple missed layups, we win.
Yep. Law of averages. Kind of like when we played Baylor at home, Baylor couldn't make a damn thing and ku couldn't miss. It all evens out eventually

This game was our last chance to have a cherry-on-top resume boosting road win…

We’ve come up short in every high stakes road game this season and managed to lose them all in unique ways.

We came out tonight like gangbusters and looked like a well-oiled machine. Then Self got cute with the lineup and Drew found an answer to not having JTT…

Self didn’t make adjustments. Nobody could make shots.

We took a step back tonight and now play 3 games the next 7 days.

Let’s see what happens, but if we end up sharing the title you have to look back on road games that we found ways to lose. Tonight being one. Austin another.

We should win out. But I am concerned with Dave. I think he should sit and heal Monday.

Then Ku needs to get more physical. Have guys that can finish at the rim. How many times did Och or Harris look weak with the ball? Outside of Braun KU doesn’t anyone that can finish or do well with contact.

I would bank on a tourney crew saving KU. If anything they will get caught up in the emotion of an underdog comeback run and call the game even closer which doesn’t bode well for a team that doesn’t shoot FTs well much less on the road where I’m sure they are even worse.

Had Baylor not had all the injuries we might have…

This team is an Ochai 3pt from being a half game behind Baylor right now.

It was a 2 point game with 4 minutes left. These 2 minutes changed the game.

Ochai missed a quick ( forced ) 3.
We missed a free throw.
Wilson missed a three.
Ochai missed a gimmie layup.

This whole deal where we were outcoached is kinda silly.
Do I think we were forcing early shots? Yea. That was dumb.
Do I think it was some sort of outschooling like the 30 point beat down we put on them?
No. We coulda won this deal, for sure.

You are making excuses why KU is good.
Why are you a fan?

The out coaching, you could argue was when Baylor went small and Self didn’t adjust. He kept Dave in the game and the Zohan completely turned the game.

Pretty crazing coming on here and dissing the winningest coach since 2003 in all of bb. Everyone wants championships, but you need to have six favorable matchups in a row, decent officiating, and no injuries
I'm not hating on him for his record. He is great at consistently dominating the big 12 and getting them into a good spot going into the tournament. But it's been a very long time where I actually felt like they actually had a chance of winning it all even with having a recruiting advantage over most schools.

You’re focused on the micro of what KU didn’t do.

There’s a reason we didn’t play well for the last 30 minutes of the game.

Couldn’t defend the small lineup. Thus, couldn’t get out and run.

You should know by now that KU is everyone's superbowl. KU got punked by the pushing physicality on its shooters and had to sit through Chip Gaines' shit flinging all day. Baylor won this game wrestling. And not surprising either. This was do or die for Baylor. The Big 12 is looking for seeding respect.

Also goddamnit that is so infuriatingly dumb.
"We are a 1st team AA players play away from being close with 4 games left in one of the toughest conferences in the NCAA down our B12 preseason POY for much of conference play".

What?
