What would the schedule be like? 2 games a day? 3?

Then you'd have what i'd guess to be a very long break between your next game so you could conceivably just run with 2 starting pitchers if you really wanted to.

MLB needs to come to terms with a 58 game schedule with regular playoffs or an 87 game schedule with only a World Series for a playoff.

Ah gotcha. I was running different scenarios like playing everyone in your division 12 times, and the other league teams 6 times, but that already gets you over 100.

He wasn't wrong. The late 90s and early 2000s were such an awesome time for pitching. Pedro, Maddux, Clemens, Johnson. Four of the very best to do it, all at the height of their powers.

It's a sign of what a ludicrous time it was for pitching that Kevin Brown, who was goddamned ridiculous for a while there, didn't even get a sniff in HoF consideration. Of course, he was universally reviled.

Pedro from an ‘early days’ of fantasy standpoint was outstanding. Same with Johnson. But...

Do you all forget Maddux? (There are others, but he’s the most egregiously overlooked of era I believe).

On the surface, it’s not going to go over well with many people while so many people are not able to work right now.

My first thought is that it’s interesting that the NFL owners 11th houred a 10 year labor deal that is gonna SUCK for the majority of the player, and most of the media supported this....meanwhile, no mention of this agreement being beneficial or not to the players has been uttered on what I’m watching.

Between (a) a (for-now) shortened draft, (b) killing off minor league baseball and (c) what is sure to be sharp decline in college baseball, MLB sure seems intent on driving kids away from playing baseball.

And, people may have differing opinions on Boras, but I think he's right here. Players shouldn't move an inch unless owners become more transparent.
