Had a Popeye's spicy chicken sammich for lunch today.
There were no other cars in the drive through, yikes. That's never happened.
They said they don't have onion rings, I used to get them there all the time. Thin and crispy and pretty good. Oh well, sub red beans and rice, no biggie.

Sammich was much smaller than what I remember. Not very spicy but otherwise pretty good. Not great. Used to be great.

I had one from Chik-Fil-A last night. I strongly prefer spicy in the batter (like there or Wendy's or Culver's or Jack in the Box) as opposed to spicy sauce on the sammich.

Mrs 99 demanded chick fil a for lunch.

Crazy expensive. She got a salad and seemed to like it fine.

I got a spicy chicken sammich and fris. Fries were awful. Cold, limp and soggy. Sammich wasn't much better but at least the chicken was hot.

And then there's the whole "little chicken sammiches filled with hate" aspect.

Will be a long time before I repeat that mistake.

I have never, once, had a bad meal or experience at Chick Fil A that wasn't airport based, and I used to go a lot.
But I haven't been in a couple years.
