If you've paid any attention, voting D is voting for the WEF to have control over our country

Ok. I don't disagree.

But Candidate Chicken will work slowly, incrementally, toward improving things. You'll probably be disappointed at the speed at which anything happens, but Candidate Chicken is a steward, and will move on.

If Candidate Steak changes how we cater the events, then either he'll just keep on serving Candidate Steak until we're all dead from explosive diarrhea, or he'll ensure we can only choose different KINDS of grotesque steak going forward.
oh, i agree

Agreed, but also true of an R vote in most cases.

Yes. Like half those mother fuckers are compromised as hell. That's why the republican party seems so disorganized all the time. Some of them are normal people trying to save this country, a good chunk of them are part of the uniparty corrupt bullshit

This.
And in my opinion, my way to show, albeit so so minute of a difference, ( which can be said the same about your own vote in your state ), that the catering options should be changed, and that our options are not acceptable, is to not vote.

i disagree, to an extent

imo, the better approach is to convince more people to value voting in situations other than presidential elections

getting the catering situation changed won’t happen by voting or not voting in presidential elections

Certainly getting the vote up for other elections is important.
On a personal level, I always do a couple rounds of research on my local politicians and try, to my BUD's eggroll eyerolls, watch as many of those debates as I can.

The catering situation would absolutely change if US had something like sub 33% population vote.

maybe?

i’d like to agree, but i don’t trust the cravenness of most politicians. power corrupts. getting money out of the equation would seem a step in the right direction as well, by limiting the power of the D and R parties at all levels

Is prosecuting employers in any R proposal? I’d argue that it’s unauthorized employment that is keeping inflation from going completely out of control

I think that could easily just be interpreted as apathy, rather than protest.

A write-in vote would be clear protest - enough of those and you see winning candidates not getting majorities. That number is much more visible and publicized than the percentage that voted.

Yes, likely.
I always vote but I don't always vote for the candidates listed.

And if the person next to you says, when the dry chicken gets put on your plate and his, and says, you chose this, you can say, no, I didn’t. Because you actually didn’t.
Then your problem is with the primary process and the choices available to you at that point, not with the general election. That's the time to "make your point" where you aren't fucking the rest of the nation. Sitting out the general election isn't making your point.

I disagree. Many of the Right are entrenched in religious dogma, but the majority of us care about the economy (which encompasses matters such as the border, inflation, energy prices, and outsourcing), fixing a broken educational system, and the economy - in that order. Did I mention the economy?

No one I know of genuinely thinks DJT is a man of God. There are idiot outliers, sure, but no one seriously believes it. We’d love to see a person of faith who can also effectively address the primary areas of concern step up and take the reins, but it looks very unlikely.
Every recent Republican has added trillions to the national debt. It's basically stealing from tomorrow to make the audit look good today. It's not an actual healthy economy.

Agreed. Maybe people should pay more attention to the idiots they put into Congress so we can actually get something done.

And that’s happening. 2020 lit an engagement fire. Dobbs poured gasoline on it.

The primary process is very key to the general election - this would be like saying in 2020, 'hey, you shouldn't be upset with KU football, you should be upset with the recruiting.'

Sure, I'm upset with the recruiting.
But ultimately I'm upset with the end product.
So I don't buy a ticket ( or in this case, maybe attend a different sporting event ).
I won't be sitting out the general election, I will be writing in.

Or, relating to chicken/steak at an event, this would be like you could vote for only dry chicken as one of your two options, before knowing well done steak would be the other.

You could write in pizza there as well but the whole process from the get go was bullshit -- hence saying you want pizza when the final options are presented.
