Watching UMich and tOSU--having a hard time seeing us keep up with these teams. Yesterday was promising, though.

Anyone else realize the MVC has had teams playing back to back games against the same opponent?

Thought this was kind of interesting. Pretty consistent results.

Loyola 69
Bradley 56

Loyola 65
Bradley 58

Loyola 72
Mo. St. 46

Loyola 70
Mo. St. 50

Loyola 68
Evansville 55

Loyola 69
Evansville 58

Then they played Drake.
Won by 27 and then lost by 1.

He's pretty smart with it all. Never mentions refs. Just says according to the stat sheet.

You can tell he's getting more comfortable in the conference, and that he knows he's one of the best in the conference. He has some clout to say and do things that he may not have a couple years ago.

Anyone watch the game? Did Tech not commit the fouls that were called on them?
Easy to point at a state sheet but I'd like to know if the Tech players actually committing fouls or the refs calling fouls that weren't really fouls was a major reason why Beard should feel Tech lost.

I did not watch the entire game. I mean, he's fine when he thinks things are fair and accurate. He'll say they got beat and he tips his cap. If he vocalizes it, he clearly thinks it was not called the same both ways.

I mean he got ejected just a couple weeks ago. He'll go wild if he thinks something isn't right. But when things are pretty fair, accurate and called both ways, he's one of the most laid back coaches in the league.

Speaking of "WTF," is WVU or Baylor opting out of the rest of the season?

You think they're just going to punt on the regular season and then just go to NCAA tournament. They're probably thinking they've proven everything they need to prove.

We may need to schedule 2, 3, maybe 4 new games.

So Big 12 is apparently doing a widespread change to end of the year. If I were them, I'd cancel the tournament and focus on getting all the games in while not exhausting teams.

I don't think KU and Baylor happens Saturday.

So let's say Baylor doesn't actually make up any games ( it's possible at this point ).
That's 11 games in the B12.

That makes tonight's game vs Texas ( if you care about the B12 title which you should ) all that more important.

Because if we are 12-5 going into the game v Baylor, they can't match us in wins without a makeup game.
