And it’s only getting worse as we’re in the slow beginnings of a water rush.
I’m reminded some of this Apollo 13 scene:
There weren’t meant to be megacities in the American west. Our self-induced climate issues are making that even more the case. Vegas and Phoenix, in particular, just shouldn’t be there.

And it has also created a noticeable uptick in pollution in those areas.

My family had almonds in Lodi, CA until fairly recently. Suffice it to say I’m good on almonds forever.

The takeover of US rural acreage for agricultural and livestock by foreign entities is a real problem facing rural America. It's Congress that needs to do something about it and it is inevitably that you'll find the (usually Republican) Congressional representatives have been bought by these groups so that they can achieve their goals. So of course they look to a Democratic President to blame and of course they look to a Democratic Presidential candidate to fix their problems. Why would they put the blame on the people they keep putting into office over and over and over? That would mean they were to blame themselves and that self-reflection seems to be an effort GOP voters cannot bring themselves to do.
If their congressional representatives are not watching out for them they THAT is who they need to hold accountable. They are the ones that are supposed to be passing laws to help them. RJK Jr. isn't going to do jack shit to help them.
I don't think anyone specific was being blamed (until you said mainly Republicans) but rfkj was just identifying a problem that needs to be addressed.
But yes politicians being bought by special interest groups is probably the biggest problem this country has. Except, we all know damn well its both Republicans and democrats

Water issues in the west stem from pretending that there is water in the west that isn't there. We pump in all this water into the damn desert places like Vegas. And we grow a lot of heavy water dependent crops in California. When you ignore logic dumb things happen
