You honestly think Kamala Harris is smarter and a better debater than Hillary Clinton was? I don't.
I'm not saying I feel Donald Trump "beat" Hillary Clinton when they debated but I will say I feel Donald Trump did a lot better than people give him credit for. Those who claim he didn't, tell me how Hillary winning the debates worked out for her.
Again, I feel if he sticks to script - he will do ok against her in the debate - in regards to what an undecided/uncommitted voter will deduce (is that the right word I am looking for?).
But.... I fully expect him to go off script. At least I hope he does.
do you honestly think trump is as mentally competent as he was 8 years ago? i don’t
i also happen to think that Kamala’s prosecutorial bona fides would serve her quite well on a debate stage opposite trump
No. I don't think he is as mentally competent as he was 8 years ago. He has proved he's competent enough - in that while he didn't say much of substance that was good - he didn't have any major blunders that really hurt himself against Old Balls Brain Dead Joey.
As far as Kamala’s prosecutorial bona fides, unlike some people on here, I admit I have not taken to the time to educate myself - on what the debate formats are.
While I am probably giving the Trump team too much credit, I think they realize Trump could suffer in regards to it and will prepare him the best they can.
Respectfully, nearly every fucking time he opens his mouth or his Twitter post box, he says or does something that, if done by ANYONE ELSE IN MODERN AMERICAN POLITICAL HISTORY, would have been called a "major blunder" by the media. The media chased Biden out of the race, for example, for exhibiting possible deficiencies that pale in comparison to Trump's obvious mental, emotional and moral failings.
Do not let the fact that we've been in a zone flooded with shit desensitize you to the smell of shit.

People whine about Kamala changing pokicy stances:
National Abortion Ban Donald: "I think there should be some form of punishment" (for women seeking reproductive choice)
States Abortion Rights Donald: "The states should decide. Everyone wants this!" (The majority of the country did not want this)
Pro Choice Donald: "There should be more weeks" (re: the upcoming referendum for Florida's ban on abortion)
Socialist Donald: "FREE IVF!"

I thought her answers were basically reasonable (even though of
course the lion’s share of the real answer is that these things are political considerations; you just can’t say that, even though (like we talk about with immigration) the honest and pragmatic view is that compromising a degree of your ideals in order to prevent someone who shares NONE of those from getting power, is also reasonable).
For example, I think it is perfectly logical to say that one’s stance on fracking has softened now that we are taking massive, concrete and measurable steps toward more appropriately balancing the percentage of our energy needs that requires fracking to service.
Everything in moderation, essentially.

Don’t know if many were impressed with her CNN interview with Dana Bash. She couldn’t come up with a specific answer when asked about “Day One”. She gave a vague answer about “helping out the middle class”.
I remember Biden on his first day nixed permits on the Keystone XL pipeline (I bet to spite Trump).

Wow, great ratings!
CNN’s primetime interview with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz drew nearly 6 million total viewers, as the vice president sat for her first TV appearance since accepting the presidential nomination, according to Nielsen fast national ratings.
The interview, which aired as a primetime CNN special at 9 p.m. ET, ranked the network No. 1 in cable news, more than both Fox News and MSNBC viewership combined, which sat at 2.582 million and 1.307 million, respectively.
In the key 25-54 demographic, CNN topped cable news ratings with 1.06 million viewers, compared to Fox News’ 302,000 viewers and MSNBC’s 150,000 viewers in the age range.
A lot of folks seem to want to find out more about Kamala.

The right wing trolls are having a field day with this simple statement.
Jeff Walz’s Facebook posts caused a stir in both mainstream and social media as he described the Minnesota governor as “not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
Despite saying to his Facebook friends that he had “thought long and hard” about publicly endorsing former President Donald Trump, he now wishes to be uninvolved in any political campaign.
“It wasn’t my intent, it wasn’t our intent as a family, to put something out there to influence the general public,” Jeff Walz told NewsNation.
Jeff Walz, who is a registered Republican and donated $20 to Trump’s 2016 campaign per The New York Post, explained his social media posts were intended to rebuke rhetoric that he was in lockstep with his brother’s views.
“I was getting a lot of feedback from my friends, old acquaintances, thinking that I was feeling the same way that my brother did on the issues, and I was trying to clarify that just to friends,” Jeff Walz said. “I used Facebook, which wasn’t the right platform to do that. But I will say, I don’t agree with his policies.”
In the Facebook posts first seen by the Post, Jeff Walz said there were “stories (he) could tell” that implied his brother wasn’t “the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
Now, he told NewsNation these “stories” follow a similar line to one wherein Tim Walz’s siblings didn’t want to sit with him due to car sickness when they were younger.
“Nobody wanted to sit with him, because he had car sickness and would always throw up on us, that sort of thing,” Jeff Walz said. “There’s really nothing else hidden behind there. People are assuming something else. There’s other stories like that, but I think that probably gives you the gist of it.”
Yeah we get the gist of it, and the rubes are gonna rube.
In the meantime RFK Jr has dropped a bear cub corpse in Central Park and chopped off a whale's head and drove it across MA on the roof of his van and its a drug addict and his former wife killed herself.
But the guy who got carsick as a kid is not the one you want making major decisions.

To say nothing of the major decisions record of his opponent at the top of the ticket (his counterpart VP candidate of course has no record of making major decisions at all).

Another reason not to vote for Kampala, she is a failure as a communist!
Great news, fellow patriots. I’ve found another thing Democratic presidential nominee "Comrade Kamala Harris" is bad at: Communism.
As you’ve probably heard from GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and other wise leaders on the right, Harris is a communist, a socialist, a Marxist and probably a bunch of other -ists meant to scare you.
On Wednesday, Trump posted a video of himself on his social media account saying: “Comrade Kamala Harris is terrible for our country, absolutely terrible. She is a communist, has always been a communist and will always be a communist.”
And at an annual Moms for Liberty conference in Washington, D.C., last week, The Associated Press noted a painting near a security checkpoint attendees had to pass through that “showed Vice President Kamala Harris kneeling over a bald eagle carcass, a communist symbol on her jacket and her mouth dripping with blood.”
fucking hell these people are weird
Look, if Trump, Musk AND Moms for Liberty are communicating to me that the sitting vice president of the United States is a communist, I’m going to believe them, because I’ve never known those folks to lie or be hypocritical.
And so I am appalled ‒ APPALLED, I tell you ‒ that an actual, dyed-in-the-wool communist is running for president.
But what’s even more appalling is recent revelations from economists at investment giant Goldman Sachs that a Harris victory in November would boost the U.S. economy while a Trump victory would be a “hit to growth.”
That’s right, the economists wrote: "If Democrats sweep, new spending and expanded middle-income tax credits would slightly more than offset lower investment due to higher corporate tax rates, resulting in a very slight boost to GDP investment due to higher corporate tax rates, resulting in a very slight boost to GDP growth on average over 2025-2026.”
And if Trump beats Comrade Kamala the communist? The Goldman Sachs report said: “We estimate that if Trump wins in a sweep or with divided government, the hit to growth from tariffs and tighter immigration policy would outweigh the positive fiscal impulse” from continuing most corporate tax reductions.
WHAT IN THE NAME OF VLADIMIR LENIN IS GOING ON HERE?!?
Why are some of the biggest capitalists on the planet at Goldman Sachs telling us that a communist-dictator-in-waiting will be better for our economy?
This comes hot on the heels of a nonpartisan Penn Wharton Budget Model report showing that Capitalist King Trump's economic plan would balloon the deficit nearly five times more than Communist Comrade Kamala's.
Kamala Harris is proving to be the worst communist in history
I’ll be honest, I don’t know exactly what the words “communism” and “socialism” mean, because figuring that out would require reading and I believe knowledge is a form of liberal indoctrination.
But I’m 100% sure that Trump, Musk and other Republicans and sensible right-wing activists who want to ban books know the precise definition of the words they’re assigning to Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
FAKE NEWS ! FAKES NEWS!
But just to be safe this job creator is going to vote for Kamala just in case Goldman Sachs knows something Fox News won't say due to their investment in the trumpty plumpty cult brand.
