The Biden administration is not planning to punish Israel if it launches a military campaign in Rafah without ensuring civilian safety.
…
The White House’s approach has support from many inside and outside the administration. Backers of the policy say the U.S. should help Israel defend itself after Hamas attacked it on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people in a single day, the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. The fear is that if the U.S. bashes Israel too hard or too publicly, any influence administration officials have with their Israeli counterparts fades away — potentially leading Prime Minister BENJAMIN NETANYAHU to authorize an even more aggressive military campaign.
But critics of the Biden administration contend they are refusing to use considerable leverage over Israel to save lives. Instead of withholding military assistance or sanctioning extreme members of Netanyahu’s government, Biden and his team prefer to signal displeasure in public. That offers nice soundbites, they say, but it actually doesn’t change anything.

Unfortunately, like Putin and the traitors who attacked the Capitol on Jan 6th, Bibi knows if he hangs on long enough, Trump the traitor will save him.

The year may not be super relevant but the man suffering from memory loss and a too frequent inability to mentally focus sure as heck is.
I work with an 80 something year old woman. I have worked with her for close to 19 years.
The past couple weeks she has asked me the same question 5 times and I have given her the same answer 5 times.
Yesterday she fucked up something. Bad. Why? Because she's not nearly as sharp as she used to be.
Thought she was told something she wasn't. It was upsetting, unnerving, and disconcerting to me - and those who work directly with her.
It's been a steady downward pattern with her.
She is not the President of the United States.

It turns out it isn't. First, the prosecutor is a Trumpy. Second, this is a coordinated age hitjob. Third,Trump is so far gone and dangerous, this hit job should be ignored. One of Trump's VP wannaves just went full blame the Jews yesterday.
The central focus now is "don't vote for either." That way the religious nuts can win with 28-percent

perhaps the devil is in the "long-term financial security feels fragile and vulnerable" details.
Now ask yourself, do you trust the party that tells you the social safety net is "evil/socialism" to fix the fragility?
If "long-term financial security feels fragile and vulnerable" is your party's recruiting pitch, then you will look for stealth ways to cut SS and medicare/medicaid, not improve them.

I mean, considering the dem strategy is little more than “let’s just try to convince all the economically vulnerable Americans that the economy is actually doing super anyway,” bro I don’t trust either party.

Whether you agree or not, a lot of progress has been made in the last 70 years. Much of it is taken for granted now. While you may want more progress, you need to understand that much of that progress is being lost to the MAGA movement. That is the whole gist of MAGA. The bigger fight right now is not to make more progress, it is to keep things from regressing. Until that battle is settled, you can kiss "progress" goodbye.
Here's a little lite reading for you.

If Joe Biden is elected and somehow doesn’t serve his full term, no need for concern as we have his VP (the border czar) to lead the U.S.A.

What's your problem with the VP? Be specific.

not directed at me, and I dont have a problem per se.
I just am wondering if she's on a milk carton somewhere, or if Joe has filed a missing person's report yet?

Yeah, she is definitely off of the pace of accomplishments that Pence stacked up in the last administration.

Pence shouldn't be the standard....
"not that guy" isn't a good platform, wayyyy to much of that going on. Need to have more pride in what you ARE doing and less reliance on how shitty the other guy is/was.
Pence may not have dont much, and what he did do may not have been grand, but at least he existed. Again, not arguing for that dude, but.....sheesh, this world is....somethin...
