One thing that never ceases to amaze me are high-traffic, high-profile websites that are nearly unusable. ESPN.com, when it comes to accessing ESPN+ content (video or web), is one.

Others are strangely concentrated in travel. Both Marriott's and Hilton's websites are always always always glitchy as hell. Hertz's might as well have been developed in a high school class in 2011, and then left alone for ten years.

I think a lot of airline websites are intentionally user-unfriendly, in that they make it an enormous pain in the ass to shop different options/itineraries etc.

Special shoutout in this class to usually-good Southwest, which (1) stripped a tool that let you shop lots of destinations at once (which was really helpful when thinking through vacations without a destination in mind) and (2) doesn't let crawlers/aggregators (like Google Flights or Kayak) show its fares.

I rarely get on it, but when I do, stuff as simple as posting a photo, or - gasp! - paying for a promoted campaign, is prone to “please try again later” kinda of error messages, if the error even prompts a message at all

My favorite is accessing other countries' websites, both government and private, and they still only work on Internet Explorer.

Not a problem for me, as I access Facebook and Twitter almost exclusively over mobile. Work network blocks on my computer (meaning, FYI, I can't see Twitter links posted here if I'm on my computer).

Maybe the gun enthusiasts can clarify: I would have thought that there would be a rather simple and sure way to tell a live round from a blank, no?

Yea, pretty suspect that a live bullet would end up in a prop gun…or that a prop gun would have the ability to shoot live bullets in the first place

of course prop guns can shoot real bullets....theyre real guns. they fire blanks which are powdered loads with no projectile "bullet" packed in the casing of the ammunition. That way you get the correct action, sound, kick, and puff of smoke etc. It shouldve never had a live round in it on set and ahouldve been checked multiple times prior to the scene. Usually there are 3 double check points to ensure that doesnt happen including a prop master or gun master trained with firearms. Hence why it hasn't happened in 20 years despite guns being in just about every show and movie out there.

That’s what I thought. My question though is how did a live round end up on the set? I have seen rifle blanks and they are visually different - clearly the “bullet” is a different color and texture. Haven’t seen pistol/handgun blanks.

theres really no excuse. Shouldn't have happened. Also, yes. common sense is no live rounds should have ever been on set. There is no good reason.

The radio said there’s supposed to be an arms guy that manages all that on a set, but not sure on this one, super tight budget, and actors were complaining about treatment and stuff, or something?

He started it. Meaning "the war" with Trump and the Trumpers AND his shooting and killing someone on "HIS" set.
Not saying he was wrong to start "the war" nor do I think he intentionally killed someone but let's be honest here.
