By May 30th any person that wants to will have had their first dose. By June 30th any person that wants to will be fully vaccinated. By July 1st MICHHAWKS mask collection will be smoldering in his firepit.
You're so damn alpha, MICH! Just like your big strong ex-President.

That's...not how it works, but sure.
I think he meant MICHIGAN will be smoldering in a firepit by then.

Just got second injection an hour ago.
Feeling good.
My 2nd one is on the 9th. Friday afternoon. Planning for a lazy Saturday if all goes to plan.
If this becomes an annual booster thing, you'll see lots of "first weekend of the NCAA tournament" booster appointments.
March Madness 2022, check.

If I was in Dr Fauci’s place I would have said something about freedoms of young members of the wrestling team. Or I would have something like “you are always free to go and have a miserable death. We would save a lot of oxygen”. That’s why he is a much better man than I ever will be.

I’ve been told that it only hurts the first time, the you get used to it.

It's neither good nor bad, but don't be nervous. You're gonna be fine. You'll see.

Had my second one on Thursday. Pretty much as expected. Yesterday was kind of bad, like a mild flu (haven’t experienced that since I religiously get the flu vaccine). But the arm still hurts. Generally feel fine. On my first one other than my arm hurting for a couple of days (felt like I was carrying a bucket of water always) no real issues. BTW, I got the Moderna

Right on, good to hear. I’m signed up for Moderna too.
I guess the second shot is a worse reaction, and kind of paradoxically is worse if your healthier/have a stronger immune system, cuz your system is more strongly reacting to it.
I signed up on this website for the local vax drive at the HS today, was supposed to get a confirmation email, but never did. I called and asked why, and after a lot of confused back and forth, the lady says well if you don’t see your name on this list then you must not be signed up to volunteer. I said, I’m not trying to volunteer, I just want the shot. Her mind was blown and couldn’t figure out why, but said I unofficially should be able to get poked even if I didn’t get a confirmation. Not exactly inspiring confidence tho.

Ahh I got it!
I feel like the needle’s still in KU arm, but pretty sure that’s just in my head.
No other side effects, other than I’m wondering how the eff I just consented to that, and also turning red and growing pinchers.
Fortunately, the nurse who stuck me was a total babe, solid bod too, so I tried to focus on her rack as a distraction til it was over.
