He doesn't obsess about as much as you do Scott Drew but he does love him some Sherron.
At least he's obsessed about a Jayhawk.
Just getting caught up on this thread. Post of the day.

And Scott Drew sucks.
Scott Drew was trying so hard to be chummy last night with JaKobe - JaKobe wanted nothing to do with it.

Mavs have traded Tim Hardaway Jr. and three 2nd-RD picks to the Pistons for Quentin Grimes

three 2nd rounders. WTF is going on in the NBA?
Meanwhile, dumbfucks Karnisovas and Eversley have no 2nd rounder until 2028 and couldn't get one from OKC in the Caruso/Giddey trade.

Hardaway had become a massive headache. Mostly because of his dad and his dad's mouth. This is a win for all parties involved.

Probably ;)
Only ones I might question are Kay, Magnay, Reath, Vasiljevic, and White.

I consider Grimes the same amount Jayhawk as Dedric and Kj Lawson. Or CJ Henry.

is Pierce less of a Jayhawk since he didn’t stay 4 years?

are Wiggs and Joel more Jayhawk than grimy or Lawson?
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

To me, guys who leave early for the league or who transfer in to finish their college career are more Jayhawk (different) from guys who transfer out to go to another school.

No, Paul put his whole heart into KU. His whole career was as a jayhawk. He's thru and thru.

Wiggins and Embiid spent their whole short careers as jayhawks. One and dones are less highly rated though because it was a forced stepping stone.

Grimes bailed because he's a pussy with bad handlers. Dedric transferred in for a year....did his thing and left...there was no love for the university in his time spent there.

If you were a member of a KU team and you no longer are, you are a former Jayhawk to me. No matter what the circumstances are/were.

So just for the hell of it, I decided to type in the names of 5 former Jayhawks in to the search bar of X.
Most of the time it defaulted to Nostalgic Jayhawks and had videos of the players.
These were the first things that came up that were not Nostalgic Jayhawks.

Andrew Wiggins....

The term isn’t a simple literal definition of ‘being’ a Jayhawk.

It’s sports tribalism bullshit.

If it transcends sports, and is meant to signify the bond former students/staff/etc at the university feel for one another, fine.

I want a new job, and am curious if any of you have any positions available. If I qualify, I hope my status as a KU alum brings added value to the equation.

We have to claim Arterio Morris, too, right? Especially since he was dismissed for what amounted to zero reason (as it relates to legal findings).
