I don’t know, just don’t want one. Sounds like Bennett is, although I don’t want to watch his high school philosophy basketball either

All of this being said, I don't think Bill Self is going anywhere. At least not for a while.

I'm all for Self staying but I would hardly be heartbroken if he left - based on history.
What do I mean? Harp was a very good coach and when he left we got an arguably better coach. Then when Owens left we got an arguably better coach. Then when Brown left we got an arguably better coach (at least his win % was better and he did get us to 4 Final Fours and 2 National Championship games). Then when Williams left we got an arguably better coach. See a trend?

I agree that we have had good luck getting great replacement coaches when a coach has left. You'd hope that that trend would continue, but you never know.Gutter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 04, 2019 6:56 am I'm all for Self staying but I would hardly be heartbroken if he left - based on history.

It's an incredibly lucky to replace a HOFer with another HOFer. Chances of having 3 HOFers in a row is low.
Just Ledoux it

yeah...want in one hand and shit in the other
not that i don't think we can get someone that is arguably better (more natty's?), but we'd be lucky if the next guy to fill the shoes is as good as Self

HCBS is fantastic. Our job should be his job for as long as he wants it.

I don't know about Hoiberg. I watched an interview with him and apparently his Dad coached at Nebraska. You never know, but I get the impression that Nebraska is the last stop for him.

Wonder if he ends up in East Lansing.

If he can win a tournament game at Nebraska, then he'll have done something never done before in the history of the program.
That should earn him a better job.

The post-Izzo MSU job is going to be a tough one.
