I knew faith in Bender would pay off into an embarrassing loss just like the last 10 years.

I wish it would have been a buy week...bought Beaty out and be done with him. Even a girl can see that he has not a fucking clue....

Why Beatty keeps playing Bender is unreal.
This weekend I actually got to watch KU football for the first time this year. Bender is just awful. Just doesn't seem to have common sense.
It seems like there's some talent here. Whoever inherits this mess will be much better off than when Beaty was handed a destitute program from the fat offensive genius who destroyed the program.

This is 100% accurate and something I've tried to convey for a long time. KU literally had maybe 40 scholarship players when Beaty got to KU. The program was in that bad of shape. He was literally the only guy who wanted the job at a low salary, which is what KU had to do at the time.
Now the salary restraints are nearly there anymore, the program has some young talent, the number of players and scholarship players is up quite a bit, and you have a pretty competent football-focused AD making the hire.
KU will be better in the next 2 years, as long as Long makes a good hire.
