Good point.
That multiple military people have received.

Better point?
How does that prove that the other guy was more deserving of the civilian award given to Limbaugh? Like him or not, he built a genre; and empire. He revolutionized talk radio. It is a significant accomplishment for a college dropout from Cape Girardeau, MO.

I never assumed that you think I'm inferior in intellect to you. Quite the opposite, as I don't think even you are that delusional.

You're obviously inferior to lots of people on this forum, but you don't call them them cocksuckers or sons of bitches or motherfuckers. You reserve that kind of term for a woman who is obviously above you in intellect. Sort of like Rush says awful things about Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama--both lawyers, something he's not smart enough to be. Or Oprah, who is in his same business, but self-made and more successful.

Not sure about better, but definitely valid.

That Vet was NOT snubbed because Rush got an award...which is the main point...and has nothing to do with whether Rush was deserving of the award.

No, I reserve name calling for you. I don't name call very many people on this board (I can only think of 3 or 4 people I'd even consider name calling on this board).

Although, I still stand by the statememt that I didn't call you the c-word...all I said was that it's easy to see why someone did...and I will stand by that.

You can't talk sense to crayzee, much less demented mean crayzee, dude. Leave it alone. She's on her own planet in its own solar system with its own god named Sea. Employ the IGNORE function and interact with bored members who are capable of rational thought.

Sure he was snubbed. Trump uses military people as props but hates them because he knows they all view him as never a gutless, never having put on a uniform creep. Trump's achievement is understanding how to convince the Dixiecrats that he's one of 'em.

Honoring the guy who dropped out of college in the North to go to the segregated military in the South, risky enough and joined up in a risky outfit? That wouldn't set well with Trump's Dixiecrat base.

Broken.

Every Vet there is/ever has been deserves an award over Rush if that's the criteria...and over Ellen Degeneres, and over Robert DiNero, and so forth and so on.

Doesn't prove that the other guy was more deserving. Proves that it's an award that Military personnel can and have received.
As far as Rush and how deserving he may be, I strongly feel there are literally millions of Americans who are more deserving of the honor than Rush Limbaugh - but it's not up to me to make that ultimate decision. It's up to a difference piece of shit human being.

Trump turned the SOTU address into his preferred format--a TV Reality Show. Speaker Pelosi simply responded to his destruction of one more American tradition.

So, some more things that your guy awarded the formerly esteemed medal to Rush for saying:

"I'm a huge supporter of women. What I'm not is a supporter of liberalism. Feminism is what I oppose. Feminism has led women astray. I love the women's movement—especially when walking behind it."—Rush Limbaugh, responding to criticism that he is sexist and defending his selection as one of the judges at the 2010 Miss America Pageant, "Fox News' Fox & Friends," February 3, 2010

"Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society."—Rush Limbaugh

"We're not sexists, we're chauvinists—we're male chauvinist pigs, and we're happy to be because we think that's what men were destined to be. We think that's what women want."—Rush Limbaugh
"She comes to me when she wants to be fed. And after I feed her—guess what—she's off to wherever she wants to be in the house, until the next time she gets hungry. She's smart enough to know she can't feed herself. She's actually a very smart cat. She gets loved. She gets adoration. She gets petted. She gets fed. And she doesn't have to do anything for it, which is why I say this cat's taught me more about women, than anything my whole life."—Rush Limbaugh, on his cat

"Women still live longer than men because their lives are easier."—Rush Limbaugh in 2005

"She sounds like a screeching ex-wife."—Rush Limbaugh, on Sen. Hillary Clinton

And sorry, but I don't have the quote where he called a 13 year old Chelsea Clinton a dog.

YOU are making this about Limbaugh. Noone else.

The speaker of the house acted like a child. The shunning of the handshake by the president was also a childish act. Thats all I am saying.

I wonder which one of you he-men is going to call these guys, and tell them to bring their medals back?
Generals Omar Bradley, Jimmy Doolittle, Colon Powell, Norman Schwarzkopf, Elmo Zumwalt, Tommy Franks, et al. and tell them to bring their medals back.

So we agree that it is a matter of opinion and the discretion of the person in charge of giving the award. Kinda like Moose Obama winning a Grammy: I think it is ridiculous, but it's not my call, 'cause it's not my award to give.
