KCrim March Madness
Re: KCrim March Madness
First Four starts today.
I know it was supposed to start yesterday* but who cares about First Four.
Remember when they tried calling it the first round and then the first round the second round, how dumb was that?
*i meant yesterday - i'm starting to loose it cooped up in this house

Re: KCrim March Madness
I got a 20 spot on KU to win this thing
Re: KCrim March Madness
I'll take your bet.
pdub - $19 of the $20 goes to you if you make sure KU doesn't win this thing.

Just Ledoux it
Re: KCrim March Madness
I'm already pissed about our region. We got fucked! If we lose the pdub tournament simulation I might throw my laptop through a wall.

11 Wichita State 84 v 11 Richmond 73
Blake Francis's 26 points aren't enough to stop the Shockers.
Erik Stevenson 17 points, 7 assists, 3 steals.
Way to go Gregg Marshall.

I'm 3-0.
To answer your question - Jibri Blount who?.......
You made a blooper. He doesn't play for Prairie. He plays for NCCU.
Personal: Born October 21, 1996 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Parents are Mel and TiAnda Blount. Enjoys photography, singing, dancing and playing video games. His brother Khalid plays on the NCCU football team. His favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and also enjoys traveling. Majoring in business management at NCCU.

12 Texas 64, 12 Stanford 63
Stanford goes cold from the free throw line, shooting 4 for 11, including Daejon Davis's missed front end of a 1-1 in the final minute that could have brought them even.
Andrew Jones 17 points.
Matt Colemon 16 points.

Re: KCrim March Madness
I'm 4-0. If I get a perfect bracket I am going to be really upset I couldn't submit it somewhere and get a million dollars.
One nice thing about about the Stanford loss is that Daejon Davis can say he has something in common with Derrick Rose.
I figure Shaka pretty much cemented at least another season at UT with the win but I am expecting them to lose to Wisco so maybe I'm wrong and a play in game victory won't be enough for him to keep his job.
I'm very excited for the games today!

Is anyone going to do a know your pho for Bobby Mo?
I don't want to step on toes but I'll do a poor man's version.
One of the officials who worked the Northeast Conference Tournament tested positive for the virus so it's possible we may have received a bye had the actual tournament gone on.
Anyways, Bobby Mo is located in Moon Township Pennsylvania and plays in the Northeast Conference.
Their coach is a tool. Well, he's named Andrew Toole
They play their games at the 4,000 seat UPMC Events Center.
Their nickname is the Colonials and their mascot is RoMo. I shit you not. Good thing the school isn't named Howard Morris.
The school colors are RMU Blue, RMU Red, and RMU Gray/Silver.
There NCAA Tournament history looks like this.....
1982 Lost to Indiana (first round)
1983 Lost to Purdue (first round)
1989 Lost to Arizona (first round)
1990 Lost to Kansas (first round)
1992 Lost to UCLA (first round)
2009 Lost to Michigan State (first round)
2010 Lost to Villanova (first round)
2015 Lost to Duke (second round)
Some people may recall in 2013 Bobby Mo beat the defending NCAA Champion Kentucky Wildcats in the NIT.
As far as their players, I won't bore you too much.
Senior Josh Williams (Akron transfer) is their leading scorer with 13.6 points per game. He shoots a lot of 3s and shot 41.7% from behind the arch/arc. His season high was 24 against CMU.
Josh's brother John is also on the team.
6-7 Junior Guard A.J. Bramah is a solid player. He averaged 13 points a game while shooting 56.9% from the field. Incredibly, he took 1 single 3 pointer this season - and missed it. He averaged 7.9 rebounds per game. During the regular season he scored between 10 and 19 in every game except 2. One game he scored 7 and one game he scored 25.
Dante Treacy - All he gets from me is an acknowledgment of his extremely elaborate Jesus tattoo on his left arm.
Best shooter at Robert Morris isn't one of their players. It's this "kid".
My score prediction is KU 96 RMU 47
